Huggins Elementary School HUGGINS 5TH ANNUAL GALA THANK YOU! This year’s “Denim and Diamonds” Gala hosted by Friends of Huggins was a success! It was held on April 14th at the beautiful Safari Texas facilities. The support from our families, friends, community members and businesses helps Huggins to be the best campus we can be for our students. Donations to this event allowed funds to be raised via live and silent auctions to purchase items for our school. The Gala Coordinator, Erin Hearon, along with the FOH Executive Board members were the organizers of this event and they deserve high praise and recognition for a job well done! Thank you for your continued support!
VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR Our 2011 - 2012 Volunteer of the Year is Mrs. Erin Hearon! Erin joined us last school year and she has not slowed down since arriving at Huggins! She was the chair of our Spring Gala and dedicates herself to any volunteer task asked of her. She is truly a dedicated volunteer and we appreciate her very much!
VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION WEEK During the week of April 16th – 20th, we celebrated the very special people who support our campus tirelessly all throughout the year with a Volunteer Luncheon on Tuesday, April 17th. It was a great event to share a token of our appreciation for each of you who donate your time, skills and talents to our school. Room Moms and other Volunteers were also honored all throughout the week.
