We understand your pets are very important to you and want to be a pet friendly community. However, we have received many complaints that there are pet owners not following the rules of the community when it comes to pet etiquette. Please, be aware and make a conscious effort to the adhere to the following guidelines: Only two pets per household - refer to governing documents regarding height and weight limits. Pick up pet waste and discard properly. Do not allow pets to roam around the community unrestrained - it’s the law! This includes cats too! Do not allow dogs to bark continuously disturbing neighbors.

COPPERBROOK copperbrook reminders from your HoA

As a reminder to the Copperbrook residents, please be certain to: 1. Store your trashcans out of view from the street. 2. Place your trashcans on the curb no earlier than the evening before trash pickup and remove the trash cans from the curb no later than the evening of trash pickup. 3. Heed the Harris County Leash Law. Dogs must be restrained within some sort of enclosure and, when in public, they must be on a leash or physically held by their owner. This will protect anyone in the community that is walking or bicycling as well as the pet owner who could be legally held responsible or possibly sued for failure to restrain their pet. Let’s work together to keep our community a beautiful and safe place to live!

DON’T GET BURNED! SUMMER SAFETY TIPS

Summer is here! Who doesn’t want to be outside, sunbathing, swimming, playing catch on the beach or just barbequing in the backyard? While summer means fun in the sun, make sure you’re not getting too much of a good thing. Avoid consequences of overexposure to the sun like sunburns, premature aging of the skin, wrinkling and skin cancer, including melanoma by practicing proper sun protection. The hours between 10 AM and 4 PM daylight savings time are the most hazardous for UV exposure in the continental United States. UV rays are the greatest during the late spring and early summer in North America. CDC recommends easy options for sun protection:

CYPRESS FALLS HIGH SCHOOL CHOIR

What a great year! From the ice cream social, pj party, men’s bbq, spaghetti dinner and auction, concerts, appearances, parties, to the fundraising, banquet and everything in between: It’s been fantastic! Thank you to everyone for helping our choir men and women have a year full of memories that will last a lifetime. The Spring Trip to Dallas was a load of fun - supporting the jousting men of the sections at Medieval Times, dining at Hard Rock Cafe and playing at Fiesta Texas was enjoyment for all. The chaperones and the students came home equally happy and exhausted! A round of applause for all involved in carrying out such a huge event so successfully! Our graduating seniors are thrilled to continue on their journey, their presence will surely be missed. They were recognized in the most harmonious of ways at the Spring concert. We would like to take this moment to wish them great encouragement on their future accomplishments as we note them by name: Kortland Allen, Jordan Ashworth, Jake Bracher, Madison Burt, Jake Hermida, Cameron Hussey, Kendrea Johnson, Kayley Jones, Eleni Kotzabassis, Elizabeth Lopez, Issiah Miles, James Nguyen, Amanda Sheriff, Kari Sterner and Taylor White. Along with the students graduating, their supportive parents will leave our fold with them. The executive board will be losing some very dedicated and loving parents as well. We recognize Marcely Burt and Debbie Mandola, along with long time executive board members, Heidi and Warren Hussey. You have been the backbone of the choir’s extracurricular activities and Ms. Douglas’s right hand. forever be seen in the continued success of our choir students. You have loved and been loved and we hope you will carry that love with you and remember your time at Cy-Falls with fondness. Thank you seems so inadequate, but it is said with full, heavy, grateful, heartfelt and warmth. Thank you. Our men’s choir had a command performance for the CFISD Executive Board. They sang in front of the board and resounded beautifully as they presented a sample of their vocal excellence that was enjoyed at TMEA (Texas Music Educators Association). Congratulations to this honors choir for a job well done. The banquet ‘Denim and Diamonds’ was held at the Northwest Conference Center. It is said that presentation is everything and the presentation was outstanding! A big Thank you to Sandra Greer, Banquet Chairman. Awards presented by the students were heart felt and hilarious, as the slideshow showcased just how much humor this group has!

will represent the 2012 - 2013 school year in style! And as always, thank you Mrs. Deidre Douglas and Ms. Lelah Loftin for your love, support, encouragement, patience and overall blessings with our children. Goodbye to the 2011 - 2012 school year! “I’m In PAIN” Can Chiropractic Help ME ? We are often asked, “What’s the best way of finding out whether or not a doctor of chiropractic can help my problem?” We believe the answer can be found in a complete chiropractic consultation and examination, including x-rays. And to help find out for sure, we will do a complete consultation and examination, including x-rays, if necessary, (procedures that normally cost $187.00 or more) for $25.00. We will make this special program available through June. The only exception to the offer involves personal injury cases (workers’ compensation and auto accidents) in which there is no charge directly to the patient.

Crazy Days of 5th Grade is the 3rd book in the Iggy the Iguana chapter book series for children which focuses on themes of the upper elementary classroom, including making new friends, positive changes in learning styles and respect for others. When Iggy’s new teacher, Mr. Gruff the goat, continues to eat his homework, he realizes his old ways of studying are over. It will take the mind of a creative genius and a lot of make-believe to revitalize Iggy’s concentration in class. What started off as a lonely, boring school year missing his best friend Snap Shell the turtle, turns into a suspenseful ride that includes a strange encounter with a crab and an unexpected trip to the hospital. With the help of his friends and his little sister’s stuffed animals, Iggy discovers a hidden talent proving what he once considered a problem was really a gift in disguise.
