The Board is aggressively pursuing delinquent accounts in order to maintain all the amenities, facilities and services provided within the community.
DEED RESTRICTION VIOLATIONS & COST
Whether you are a homeowner or a renter, you are responsible for maintaining the property… take pride in the dwelling you call home! Pursuing violations is one of the larger expenses in the HOA budget - help us save YOUR money and avoid increased dues. Most Common Violations: Yard and trashcan violations continue to be the majority of the letters that get sent out. Deed restrictions state that NO TRASHCANS SHOULD BE STORED WHERE THEY ARE VIEWED FROM THE STREET. This is such an easy task - please pull your trashcans into your garage or into your backyard on non-trash days. Yards must have grass growing, be free of weeds, must be mowed AND edged regularly and trees and shrubs must be neatly trimmed at least 8’ off the sidewalk and street. Driveways, sidewalks and the street must be free of weeds, as well. Homes must be maintained and kept in good working order… this includes painting, damaged doors, rotting wood, gutters, etc. Vehicles that are inoperable, covered, have expired registration/ inspection stickers and boats, trailers and campers may not be parked in view from the street. These items must be stored off premise or inside garage. Violators will be sent final demand letters and sent to the attorney for action. Please do your part keeping your home and Sundown Glen a desired place to live.
ELECTRICIAN
NOTE: Residents - if you notice a violation, please call 866-473-2573 or email RealManage (with pictures, if possible) at SUNGLEN@ ciramail.com and report it! We can all work together to keep Sundown Glen looking beautiful.

KATY INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT WWW.KATYISD.ORG KATY ISD BOARD OF TRUSTEES APPROVES 2016-2017 ATTENDANCE BOUNDARY MODIFICATION
The Katy ISD Board of Trustees voted to approve an attendance boundary modification (ABM) designed to address the opening of three new campuses and alleviate overcrowding at campuses landlocked with 125 percent capacity. This ABM will provide muchneeded relief to Rylander and West Memorial elementary schools, as well as, balance enrollment as the District prepares to open two elementary schools and one junior high next school year. During this entire process, the District welcomed feedback from the community through an online survey. Nearly 9,000 parents, staff and community members completed the survey and dozens shared their feedback during the open forum at various Board meetings. These comments helped shape the ABM and addressed major needs and concerns cited by parents and community. The District presented to the Board a preliminary ABM proposal on November 16th and then an updated option on December 7th to better address the overcrowding at West Memorial Elementary. The Board approved the updated ABM option on December 14th. The District estimates that approximately 3,600 students will be impacted by the approved attendance boundary modifications. Katy ISD will be notifying all impacted families in January/February 2016. For more information about the ABM process, including maps of the approved attendance boundary modifications, visit the District’s ABM webpage.
