Now that summer is here, it is time to make sure you are aware of our new pool hours!! To avoid problems of non-residents using the pool, your Board will enforce the use of pool tags. Pool tags must be worn by all swimmers over the age of 10. The pool tags will be issued only to those residents in good standing. Developed by TUTS, the Tommy Tune Awards honor musical theatre excellence at the high school level. After reviewing and evaluating a total of 44 participating Houston productions during the 2011-2012 academic year, a team of 32 Houston-based theatre professionals made 154 nominations in 15 categories. The Tommy Tune Awards will be televised on June 3rd at 2 PM on Houston’s ABC Channel 13.

Cedillo was recognized for her role as Penny Pingleton in the Morton Ranch High School theatre production of Hairspray. Additionally, Morton Ranch High School theatre student, Kiirah Washington, was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as “Motormouth” Maybelle in Hairspray. Nine-time Tony Award winner and the award ceremony’s namesake, Tommy Tune, made a special appearance during the event.
