WCA Waste Corporation picks up our recycling on Saturdays and trash pick up is on both Wednesdays and Saturdays. All recycling and trash need to be on the curb by 7:00 AM on Saturdays to ensure that it will be collected. Items that may be recycled in the Hamlet are newspapers, magazines, colored paper, paper bags, folders, phone books, greeting cards, cardboard, cereal boxes, plastics #1-7, pots and pans, glass bottles and jars, aluminum foil and cans, steel and tin cans. gutters, copper and scrap metal. Painting is a simple word but can sometimes become very complicated, confusing and lots of work. Sunlight and water can ruin unprotected wood over a period of time. Ultra-violet light from the sun can bleach it, water/moisture can split, warp and rot it. Preserving wood against outside exposure is a continual, everlasting chore. Painting is a word that sometimes make homeowners cringe and bemoan at the very thought of having to do it. But with certain woods and other building materials painting is one of the steps we have to take periodically to prevent deterioration and eventual destruction of our property. There are no easy recipes to solve all painting problems, although here are some guidelines that may make the problems a little simpler and easier to solve, especially outside jobs. The HFAC Actors Academy 3-week Musical Theatre Performance Camps for grades 1-3 and 4-6 are A Year with Frog and Toad, Disney’s Cinderella Kids, Jack and the Giant, and Disney’s The Jungle Book Kids.
