Dr. Jason Beard, DVM Dr. Jason Beard graduated from Texas A&M University (THE University of Texas) College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. After graduation he practiced on a variety of animals (dogs, cats, cattle, horses, pigs, ostriches, emus, rheas, llamas, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters and an occasional deer or bobcat) in a variety of places (Brenham, Buffalo and Marshall) before settling in Lindale. While enjoying all aspects of veterinary medicine, his areas of special interest include those challenging internal medicine cases and surgery - soft tissue and fracture repairs. “My personal goal is to give back to the animal world as much care and love as they have given me. This is a goal that is never attainable but will always keep me reaching upward to offer the best care possible.” Kathy Beard R.V.T. Kathy Beard R.V.T. graduated from Sul Ross University’s Registered Veterinary Technician program in 1986. Since that time she has gained vast knowledge and experience in many areas of veterinary medicine - Private practice in Tyler, Brenham and Buffalo; Clinical Pathology at the Texas Veterinary Medical Diagnostic Laboratory in College Station; and Large Animal Surgery Dept. at Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine - as well as experience in the human medicine field by working as a phlebotomist/lab technician at Marshall Internal Medicine in Marshall, Texas. These varied positions have given her invaluable experience that she uses every day in patient care and the management of Hideaway Small Animal Clinic.
