So, I’ll be there beside you, chronicling the smiles, maybe a few tears, and all your shouts of joy. Additionally, with all full-day coverage, each of my couples & I go on an engagement session. That way, I get to know you, and you get to know me just a little bit better. This time allows everyone to get nice and comfortable together and helps ensure a glitch-free wedding day. To round everything out, we’ll come together after your wedding day for a personal Reveal Session so you can relive your day and we can discuss the key elements that are the most important part of your wedding photography: tangible prints and products. A photograph doesn’t truly exist until it is made real, so we all need to print what we want to preserve. That is everything I can think of to get you started for the rest of your forever.

I am a dork. I like learning. I figure out what makes things tick so that I can master the “whys” and “hows” in life. Everything I do, I do better than I did yesterday. I grew up in a family of printers and was encouraged towards art in general by my mother. In many ways, there really was no other choice for me. Not that I mind. I’ve been a photographer for fully half of my life, and I love every moment. In building a family, I realized the real reasons I fell in love with photography when I was 16: to make meaningful photographs of real people, preserving both the beautifully-mundane and monumental moments of a life well-lived. Now, I love meeting new couples and documenting their stories as they start their lives together.

Everyboy always asks the same question: When...? Well, let us shed some light on what you can expect from us after we part ways at the end of your reception...
Prior to your wedding day, we’ll schedule a Reveal Appointment for your both to come in to experience a your wedding in a super fun way. Along with some delicious treats and a little bubbly, you’ll experience our Short Story Slideshow to relive your day once again!
First and foremost, after your wedding, we immediately back-up all raw images and within 24-hours. Two additional copies are made for safety reasons. Within a few days, will review all of the frames from the wedding and select which images are best represent the story of your wedding day. To create our Digital Proofs, these selected images are then polished and edited for exposure, contrast, and color/ tone, converted to Black & White or receive other creative care to meet our standards. While we work out magic behind-the-scenes, we’ll tease a few images to our social media that you can share with friends and family. But, we don’t want to give away too much, because we want you to be ready for your Reveal Appointment. Right now, you’re saying to yourself “What’s a Reveal Appointment?” Well, we’re glad you asked...
While you’re with us we’ll go over all your print, album and product ordering options so we can get started on producing the heirlooms and keepsakes that you’ll be able to share with your friends and family. Approximately one week after your appointment, we’ll publish and share your entire gallery of images to our online proofing gallery for you to share with friends and family. And, when you stop by to pickup your Prints and Products, we’ll also have a USB drive loaded with all of the Digital Proofs for you to take home as well.
TRAVEL
BOOKING & PAYMENT
We happily serve weddings within 100 miles of Nashville, Tennessee with no additional charge for travel. For weddings that take place outside our homre region and require additional travel, an estimate of travel fees/expenses will be provided before booking. All travel arrangements are booked by Kris Rae Phtography. Travel fees cover flights, meals, hotel, car rental and all other travel-related incidental expenses. Travel fees are non-refundable once arrangements have been booked.
To book your wedding date, a signed contract with a retainer of $1000 is required. If you cancel your wedding or terminate your contract we will be unable to refund your retainer unless we re-book your wedding date. If you reschedule your wedding – and we’re available for your new date – we’ll be happy to transfer your retainer to a new contract for the new date. We can not hold any dates without a signed contract and retainer.

Final contract payment due 30 days prior to wedding date. Monthly payment arrangements are available upon request. We accept Checks and/or Credit Cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) for payment.
Firstly, if you book your wedding within 3 weeks of your initial meeting with us, we’ll give you $200 in product credit as a BIG Thank You for making your mind up so quickly! Clearly you shop at Staples, right? That was Easy. Next, we have to be honest: we’re kinda tired of seeing cell-phones in the background of so many of our photos, so, if you choose to have an Unplugged Wedding then we’ll comp you an additional $100 in credit towards prints and other products! There are several simple strategies to accomplish this. Ask us!
