ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS Romance is in the air and the anticipation of a lifetime together comes to a crescendo in the fleeting weeks leading up to your wedding, causing you to wonder: Is an engagement shoot really necessary? After all, don’t the wedding pictures represent the beginning of our lives together? I believe having an engagement photo session is important for several reasons. First, this time allows you, as a couple, to get comfortable in front of the camera and figure out how you work best with your photographer before the main event. Next, you can showcase your personalities in a more casual setting, while creating some fun, memorable images for wall portraits, your wedding sign-in book, guest signature board and Thank You cards (shot early enough, we can also provide the images for your Save the Date cards and invitations). Engagement portraits also add another dimension to your wedding album, chronicling your story from frolicking fiancees to husband and wife. Best of all, you can remember this special time forever with personal memories of just the two of you, away from the throngs of loved ones and friends. FAQ We love your work and we’re ready to book! What’s the next step? Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, I’ll need a completed contract and a $1500 non-refundable deposit. If you don’t have a contract yet, just let me know and I’ll send one over! When is the remaining balance due? The remaining balance will be due 1 week before the wedding. I’ll remind you a reminder about a month before your wedding when we talk again to finalize details for the big day! Do you recommend a second photographer? I always recommend a second photographer because I can’t be everywhere at once during a wedding. A second photographer ensures more wedding coverage, different angles and perspectives and a backup plan in case something (God forbid!) should happen to my cameras or one of my memory cards.
Can we put together a custom wedding package? Absolutely! Contact me and and I’d be happy to put together something suited to your exact needs. How many photos do your discs typically include and can we print the photos ourselves? Flash drives typically include anywhere between 500 and 1000 photos. The exact amount varies from wedding to wedding and larger weddings, longer weddings and weddings with second photographers tend to have more photos. Your flash drives will come loaded with fully-edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on Facebook as long as you credit me and link to my website. How long does it take to get our photos back? Typically I’ll post a photo or two within 48 hours on my Facebook page. I usually have a blog post ready within a week and within 6 to 8 weeks, you’ll receive your final photos.
