SELF-BELAY SYSTEMS

LOCKD CLIPS

The new LockD Clips, certified according to EN 17109:2020 / Type D, are distributed in Europe exclusively by KristallTurm® Safety & Service GmbH. They can be used with any existing tweezles (SSB) without conversion.

The system offers numerous advantages for operators and climbers. Due to its reduced number of components, it is more durable, maintenance and the annual inspection are easily taken care of by yourself and last but not least, the simple operation permits an enormous increase in throughput. For your climbers, the lightweight is particularly easy, safe and fast to use.

EDELRID SMART BELAY X

The Smart Belay X certified according to EN 17109:2020 / Type D is the new generation of SBX by Edelrid. The two communicating carabiners ensure consistent safety and maximum freedom of movement in the Ropes Course. Equipped with RFID technology, each system supports fast registration and effective management. The built-in roller carabiners replace the use of a double roller in zip lines.

CLIC-IT A62-25

The model A25 the successor of A21, is available since 2017.

The CLiC-iT system offers full freedom of movement and makes unhindered and self-determined climbing possible. It features high quality materials, easy maintenance, higher throughput and D safety level for operators and easy use for climbers. CLiC-iT products are constantly updated by the internal design and technical department.

Opening and locking is only possible in certain areas with C-ZAM keys.

KOALA POULIZ 3.1

The Pouliz 3.1 Shuttle is made for continuous belay systems. This means that neither re-hooking nor unhooking is necessary. Thus, it is suitable for Ropes Courses and zip lines and offers easy handling. The system complies with the requirements of the PPE Regulation 2016 / 425.

ROBIN HUB

The abseiling and rescue device with lifting function. The Robin Hub enables automatic, centrifugally braked abseiling of two persons at the same time. It is optionally available with a ratchet and sheet clamp. The injured person and rescuer can be lifted short distances using the hand wheel and longer distances using a cordless screwdriver. The MARK Infini Box requires testing only every 10 years. Optionally different handwheels are available. The Robin Hub comes as standard with hexagonal connection SW10 for all common cordless screwdrivers and for different rope heights equipment it can be equiped with KONG Duck.

RESCUE BAG

The rescue bag with integrated descender Mark Robin Hub is used to rescue climbers by descending.

TOPPAS

The TOPPAS descender is a fully automatic, certified belay device for professional training and belaying without a climbing partner. The abseiling speed is 1m/s. The two independent braking systems provide more safety.

MARK DESCENT

The abseiling device with increased abseiling speed is especially suitable for High Ropes Courses. It transports single persons in shuttle traffic with an operational load of up to 150 kg, convinces with an abseiling speed of 1.9 m/s and is available with a rope length of up to 300 m. The optional weather protection hood makes the device even safer for outdoor use. Due to the compact design in the components, it is characterized by higher safety and easy maintenance.

DYNO

The fastest retractable securing device on the market is lightweight, compact and ergonomic in design and exceeds all IFSC requirements, making it a perfect automatic high-speed securing device. The low-wear components make it particularly inexpensive to maintain.

PULLEYS

KONG ZIP EVO

The double pulley is particularly suitable for ziplines up to 50 km/h. Improved ergonomics of the handle and easy use, thanks to the new lever that can be opened with one hand. A special design guarantees correct positioning on the rope in any situation. The pulley is suitable for steel ropes up to 13 mm in diameter and complies with the requirements of the EN17109 standard. It can be used as a category A mobile lanyard.

CLIC-IT ZIP PULLEY

CLiC-iT‘s C-ZIP rope pulleys ensure smooth ropeway travel and it can be combined ideally with the CLiC-iT A62-25. The stainless steel pulleys are interchangeable.

ZIPPEY CLIP’N’ZIP TROLLEY

Having consulted zipline operators from around the world throughout the development of the Zippey, IISIC have succeeded in incorporating all the positive features needed to overcome the challenges faced by the industry.

Zippey is manufactured from high-spec 4mm aluminium plate, has a forged Aluminium gate and Stainless Steel wheels; all of which offer the best weight to performance ratio on the market. The Zippey trolley weighs 450g (1.0lb), [equaling the weight of the Petzl Trac+], yet has an MBS of 25kN (5620lbf) and therefore exceeds the 2260kg (5000lb) rating required by US standards, as well as being fully CE approved.

HARNESS

PETZL SWAN

The Swan® Easyfit Steel is a complete harness designed for High Ropes Courses, certified according to CE EN 12277 type A, UIAA. It is equipped with a FAST LT PIN-LOCK buckle, which guarantees a secure locking of the harness, as the PIN-LOCK locking system can only be opened with a special tool (trainer). The high placement of the tie-in point reduces the risk of the climber tipping backwards. Available in one size, the easy-care harness is characterized by durability.

PETZL FALCON MOUNTAIN

Very light seat and tether harness for rescue operations and climbing. Suitable for trainers: the central webbing hold facilitates locomotion by means of lead climbing technique and improves comfort when walking. Optimal fit due to sliding foam padding of the leg loop. Four gear loops (2 large, rigid front - 2 small, flexible rear).

• Certifications: CE EN 358, CE EN 813, CE EN 12277 type C, EAC.

PETZL CHEST AIR

The Petzl Chest Air expands the seat and tether harnesses FALCON and ASPIR. Easily attaches to the front tether eyelet of the seat and tether, shoulder straps and waist belt with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles provide a snug fit.

PETZL ASPIR LT

The comfortable, adjustable climbing harness is designed for group activities. The movable waist belt padding ensures comfort for users of all sizes. It provides high wearing comfort when walking or suspended due to padded hip belt and leg loops. The reinforced tie-in points and thick webbing make it very durable for intensive use.

• Material: high strength polyester webbing, closed cell foam, polyester.

RADIALIS COMP

Classic strap harness with entry from the top. Individually adjustable to any size thanks to six Easy Glider buckles. The adjustable leg loops provide optimal fit and full flexibility. Elastic loops for stowing the remaining strap and central D-ring for attaching a lanyard.

JOKER

Seat harness with wide adjustment range, ideal for courses and rental. Right / left -labeling of the leg loops, as well as fixed, elastic leg loop straps facilitate the correct donning. In addition, the belt Easy Glider buckles for infinite adjustability, high-strength material loop and small pocket for storing a RFID chip.

KIDS HARNESSES

SKYLOTEC KIDS HARNESS SAM 2.0

More comfort for our mini mountaineers: larger padding on the legs and shoulders ensure that the little ones enjoy wearing the harness and can discover their passion for climbing with a „cozy“ harness. It is suitable for children with a body weight of up to 40 kg. The harness has a central anchor eyelet and an additional retention eyelet on the back.

EDELRID FRAGGLE KIDS HARNESS

With this padded full body harness even young climbers and little mountaineers weighing up to 40 kg can enjoy the scramble. The stiff construction with the fixed leg loops make putting the harness on much easier. The 3D mesh padding and soft strap edges provide optimum comfort and thanks to the 2 slide block buckles the harness is quickly adjusted to the right size and grows as well for an optimal and secure fit.

HELMETS

EDELRID ULTRALIGHT HELMET

Extremely durable and impact resistant helmet shell, made of polypropylene. The fully adjustable headband and chin strap provide optimum support. The 26 vents provide continuous air exchange. The helmet is available in one size fits all and fits a head circumference between 54 and 60 cm. It also includes tested impact protection on the sides, front and back of the head in accordance with EN 12492.

EDELRID ULTRALIGHT HELM JUNIOR

A helmet shell for children made of polypropylene. Just like the adult model, the fully adjustable headband and chin strap ensures a perfect fit. The 26 vents ensure a continuous exchange of air. The helmet is available in one size and fits a head circumference between 48 - 58 cm. It also includes tested impact protection on the sides, front and back of the head in accordance with EN 12492.

EDELRID STATIC ROPES

The tracer threads in the rope sheath provide information about the rope diameter. Dimensionally stable due to parallel running twists in the rope core and pleasant handling thanks to thermo-shield treatment.

LANYARD

The lanyard can be manufactured in sizes between 70 cm and 100 cm. It is the connection between the harness and the self-belay system. The openings are sewn 15 cm twisted on both sides and are therefore perfectly suitable for the anchor stitch (EN354:02, EN795B:96, EN 566 CE).

TRAININGS

TRAININGS

The main focus in running your facility is on a smooth operation and a high safety standard. In order to guarantee this, we offer you training courses and training around the High Ropes Courses on a regular basis. Employing temporary workers, pupils and students is very common in the High Ropes Course operation. This makes permanent trainings even more important. Constant refresher courses keep you and your team always updated on the latest safety techniques and technical innovations.

The training courses offered by KristallTurm® Safety & Service not only cover the training of your staff, but also enable you to carry out certain maintenance work yourself and without external support.

KRISTALLTURM® GUIDE AND RESCUER TRAINING

Instruction, supervision and rescue of visitors.

The 5-day training to become a KristallTurm® guide and rescuer includes the instruction and supervision of guests in the use of the belay system, as well as the dressing of climbers. In addition, employees are taught the necessary know-how to be able to operate the belay and rescue equipment and to actively perform the rescue. The training is designed for a maximum of 7 participants per KristallTurm® guide.

Duration: 5 days Max. number of participants per trainer: 7 persons

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age of 18 years

• First aid certificate

If the rescuer exam is not passed, only the guide certificate can be issued.

KRISTALLTURM® GUIDE AND RESCUER REFRESHER TRAINING

The participation in this 2 day refresher course can take place after successful completion of the 5-day training.

Duration: 2 days Max. number of participants per trainer: 7 persons

Prerequisites:

• Minimum age of 18 years

• First aid certificate

KRISTALLTURM® TRAIN THE TRAINER

Become a trainer yourself!

Duration: 3 days

Max. number of participants per trainer: 7 persons

The training to become a KristallTurm® trainer enables the participants to train other persons as guides and rescuers themselves and having them being certified by KristallTurm® after sending the complete documentation of the training to KristallTurm® Safety & Service.

Prerequisits

• based on DIN SPEC 31060

• Minimum age of 21

• Participation in training courses to become a KristallTurm® Guide and Rescuer (or comparable passed training)

• Proof of at least 100 working days in a High Ropes Course

• Proof of hospitation at a rescuer training course

• Valid first aid course

MAINTENANCE OFFICER TRAINING

Carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks as defined in the operating manual.

The content of the 2-day training is the advanced belay technique, which allows to perform simple maintenance operations such as the replacement of the descenders or individual element parts, as well as maintenance and inspection, as defined in the operations manual. Simple extended PPE is used for this purpose.

Duration: 2 days

Max. number of participants per trainer: 3 persons

TRAININGS

EXPERTISE PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT

The training, according to DGUV 312-906, includes the control and inspection of the PPE* used in the High Ropes Course. This includes knowing and recognizing the discard criteria and their documentation.

Contents are: Harnesses, ropes, connectors, lanyards, energy absorbers, tethers and pulleys.

Duration: 1 day (Online: 3 sessions á 2.5 h; technical requirement on request)

Max. number of participants per trainer: 3 persons

• Participation in training courses to become a KristallTurm® Guide and Rescuer (or compara ble passed training

• Basic technical understanding and interest

CLIC-IT LEVEL B (A21 AND A25)

Carry out simple maintenance work and daily checks on the CLiC-iT A6225 belay systems.

Duration: 1 day (Online: 3 sessions á 2.5 h, techni cal requirement on request)

Max. number of participants per trainer: 3 persons

After the 2 day training participants can replace individual components and how to recognize and carry out necessary repairs on the carabiners. This includes replacement of snap hooks, bowden cable set, u-hooks, springs, pushers, magnetic rockers, wear pins and cowtail unit.

Prerequisits

• minimum age of 18

• PPE expertise* (or comparable passed training, or at least 2 years of experience and handling of the CLiC-iT)

• Basic technical understanding and interest

MAINTENANCE OFFICER FOR SSB EQUIPMENT

After the training, the necessary inspections, checks and maintenance (replacement of individual components) can be carried out. This includes, among other things, the replacement of snap hooks, strands, bowden cable, mechanics and the complete X³ blade cowtail unit. Further contents are care, cleaning and troubleshooting.

Duration: 1 day (Online: 3 sessions á 2.5 h; technical requirement on request) Max. number of participants: 3 persons

We provide practical tips and tricks on all aspects of High Ropes Course operation, constantly educate our trainers and instructors, and thus offer you always up to date trainings.
