THE SUBTLE YET P E R S I S T E N T FEELING OF BEING OUT • OF • PLACE

MONACHOPSIS MEDIA KIT 2017-2018

MONACHOPSIS

is a submissions-based fashion magazine specializing in high-quality editorials and other sartorial content centered around a specific theme. The magazine will be released on a bi-annual basis with print issues going live in March and September and web issues updated monthly. The word “monachopsis,” coming from the dictionary of obscure sorrows, is defined as “the subtle yet persistent feeling of being out of place.” We want to highlight people with creative ideas that don’t jive with the sartorial status quo. We want to lift up marginalized voices by giving people a place to openly submit their work. Most of all, we want to create a space where we can shamelessly talk about fashion while simultaneously addressing core issues that affect our readers’ everyday lives.

M I S S I O N S TAT E M E NT For this publication, we want to showcase amazing work by weirdos, FOR weirdos, in an environment where representation is a priority and not just a buzzword.

Guest editorials can include interviews with key members of staff, humaninterest pieces, or shopping guides. t a g l i n e || $ 75 Taglines are a great way to naturally align your business message with editorial content. Logo inclusion can be negotiated for an additional fee. p r o d u c t f e a t u r e s || $ 150 Product features are ideal for businesses looking to get their goods and services to the appropriate market.
