During the recent days, we have been faced with an enormous catastrophe as one of the most powerful storms in our nation’s history made landfall and wreaked havoc throughout our beautiful state.
As fellow Floridians, Hurricane Irma was personal. Our team at Centauri weathered this storm with you. As Irma was bearing down on our state, Centauri’s new corporate headquarters in Sarasota, Florida served as both a hurricane shelter for our employees and as a command center for our veteran-led catastrophe team.
While we at Centauri were extremely fortunate to have sustained only minimal damage to our homes and business, many other communities throughout our great state were not so fortunate. Nearly every Floridian was impacted in some way by this storm. Millions are without power and gas, homes and businesses were damaged or destroyed, and our lives have been turned upside down.
Now that the storm has subsided, the focus of our dedicated team members is on recovery and ensuring that our customers and agency partners in the affected areas are able to pick up the pieces and return their lives to normal as quickly as possible. It is our commitment to stay true to Centauri’s mission by providing unparalleled customer service and support for our agents and policyholders when they need us the most.
Hurricane Irma has left its mark on Florida, but we are resilient and together we will emerge stronger. We understand that there is a long road ahead, but rest assured that we will be there with you every step of the way.
