The Restore Sound Studio will be a w ork i ng of f i ce for s ou nd e ng i ne e rs to refurbish and maintain both th e i n-h ous e col l e c ti on a nd th e s ound recorders of other institutions. The design for the boutique adapts the pop u p shop struc ture and proportion to the site. Us i n g th e sweeping bands to c reate space, rather th a n s tore merc handise, allows fluid c irc ulation as we l l a s privac y for the fitting rooms, office and re s troom. Proposed for the M c Garrah J esse building on west 6th in downtown Austin, the HONOR f l a g s h i p boutique inc ludes display for it s c urrent collec tion, four fitting rooms, a point of purc h a s e as well as two projec tion sc reens.
