Phase 1 You create a retail video that utilizes what Vincent has already done you use his very well put together first half, and you create a 2nd have that is similar to the full video that was made and is currently being used by ILN on YOUR retail site (provided by ILN). This is a RETAIL ONLY video. GO TO MINUTE: 14:14 and watch how I took over. This is the idea of what YOU will recreate by having yourself and one other team mate present this 2nd half. STEP 1: You have to go to the GRN membership page and log in using YOUR login info (provided by GRN in your initial email). You should spend some time clicking thru the various tabs to get to know this site. Seek out 3 vacation locations to present. I recommend A HOT location, A COLD location & A CRUISE You need to open another tab and go to Expedia.com and find the same deal, same week, same hotel‌ same everything. Do the math - Is GRN a better deal? If so divide Expedia's price into GRN's price and determine the percent savings. (example: Expedia's BEST price = $1060 and GRN's price is $398- On your calculator take 398 / 1060 = 37.5. That means GRN's price is 37.5 percent of Expedia's. That's a 62.5% savings. Take 37.5 away from 100 = 62.5) Now Snap pictures using jing. Upon saving to your
computer - Jing gives you markup tools on the left side. Use the arrow feature and box feature and enter in your cost, savings and use arrows to illustrate main points. Then save your picture. You may want to save to your computer first, then do another snapshot with arrows when you're ready to do all of them at the same time so you have continuity in all of the pics. You now have your own materials to do your own presentation. STEP 2: You need to put together your own script walking through what you're going to say. It's a good idea to talk as if you were talking to your spouse or your good friend and explaining this to them. Don't be stiff. Just be firm and have fun. Don't talk features so much - talk benefits. For example: "This resort has a kitchenette, and most of the locations inside of your private vacation club back office will have a kitchenette, which is really great because now you can go to the grocery store and get some food for the week and eat in the comfort of your own suite and save EVEN MORE MONEY… This is all about a HUGE savings opportunity here… So, they also have…. " Just have fun and talk in terms of how it will benefit them - How cozy the rooms look, how clean the resort is, how big it is, how beautiful the beach is right outside of your window… Just think in terms of discussing the wonderful, enjoyable, fun, relaxing things that make it so nice to use. You now have your script and you're ready to record your presentation. STEP 3: We are putting our overview videos on a page together so that we can select from them and use whomever's is most comfortable
to you - you may like someone's particular cadence or style or accent‌ and you can use it with yours to create that social proof of more than 'just you' in this thing. ***IMPORTANT NOTE: BE FAIR - This is a collective opportunity. Don't just use someone else's video and not upload your own. We are all helping out each other by doing this. Your video may help someone else as much as another person's video may help YOU. Go to Youtube and upload your own video to your account Copy the share link to your video Go to THIS PAGE to add your name and your link. Select all of the other links and view the other videos By using the other person's youtube video link - select the person you'd like to download. Download their video to your computer (CLICK HERE FOR DIRECTIONS TO SWIPE THEIR VIDEO) Download the 1st half of the retail video done by Vincent on THIS PAGE.
You now have a GRN Intro video (by Vincent), Your video introducing YOURSELF and segwaying into the properties that you share and another video by a classmate. (You might want to reach out to the person who's video you did and ask them if they'd be willing to record an exchange with you (audio) that you could ad into your video. Shelley and I are doing that). STEP 4: Use your own Video editing Software (iMovie, Camtasia, screen flow, etc) to build out your video. I suggest adding music in the
background to create a certain energy. You have to ad it AFTER the transition to YOU because Vincent has music on his portion. Make sure you use transitions in your video so it runs smoothly. IMPORTANT NOTE: To make your video you should prepare the following things: Have a picture of yourself that you can put into the video as you are coming on after vince. Have pictures of different resort locations you can put in as you wind up your video at the end pictures are very powerful - grab 3 to 6 pictures off of google of resorts - Hot, Cold & cruises. Have a segway into Phase 2 = How Do You Earn Money From This. In closing your video You can say: "By now you're probably wondering what this has to do with making money and why you came to this page." You have 2 options: 1. Tell them that information is in the next video (good if you'd like to use this video just for retail also) If you do this - you will have to create a 2nd video and place it down below (See Phase 2). 2.
