Beach Villa -Pearl beach, ECR.
The objective of the design is to create an undertanding of the inter relationship amongst various elements of architecture form, function, space planning, user perception and behaviour. The project aims at designing a residence for a celebrity and providing a work space with the design. The villa works as both a workstation with an office and a guest house with a beach view.

The office and the private area is seperated by a well lit corridor, letting in natural soft light through the louver like wooden structures extending all the way to the ceiling.

SECTION A FIRST FLOOR
The site is along the east coastal lines of chennai. The total area of the site is around 2500 sq.m. The external facade is designed with louvers and glass which brings natural light into the building at the same time filters the light making the interior more pleasant and relaxing. The design comprises of two stories. The living room, kitchen, dining and office space at the ground and three bedroms, one kids bedroom one guest bedroom and a master bedroom are at the first floor.

KITCHEN The east facing balcony makes sure that a pleasing view of the rising sun from the ocean is enjoyed in the morning and also makes sure that there is ample sunlight throught the day, perfect for morning coffee.

The interior and the exterior spaces were designed as a whole by the semi transperent structures the glass and louver. Natural materials like teak wood, aluminium glass are used also with cool and pleasent colours for the rich interior of the house. The villa has a swimming pool and a back yard kitchen also making it ideal place for party.
Urban Leisuew Square -Adyar, Chennai.
To design an urban plaza that forms the focal point in the public space network, providing a forum for exchange, social, recreational, and economic activities. This design mainly aims in understanding the site context and surrounding characteristics of land use pattern and design of public space. It incorporates temporary market space, exhibition space, gathering space, walkways, circulation and landscaps.
Landscaping done to delignate pathways and to control the microclimate of the site.
The site is located near Tholkappiyar Ecological Park, Chennai and it’s around 13,000sq.m in area. The area is surrounded by roads on all the three sides. The west side of the site is a residential zone, the southern side is an institutional zone and east is the ecological park. This design mainly aims in understanding the site context and surrounding charecteristics of land use pattern and design of public space. Accordingly the interconnecting pathways splits the site into four zones the elders zone, the kids zone, play courts and stalls and the cental space acts as a gathering area.

From a place of tansit it makes it into a space of stay behind. Being always full of people meetingup, having coffee, concert goers, skate boards, musicians.

The site also has an open gathering area which also acts a amphitheatre to host the outdoor local community perfomances. And also a kids play area with parental zone in the front.

The design aims at developing a small gated community, targetting high profile buyers, The development provides top of the range facilities such as swimming pools, roof cafes, supreme supermarket, outdoor sports facilities etc, with respect to the character of the site.

These hihgh rise density apartment are 14 storey height. the apartment consist of 2BHK, 3BHK, and a separate block of 1HBK houses for econimically weaker section.

Cancer Hospital -OMR , Chennai.
The design aims at building a hospital that integrates funtional requirements with the human need of its varied users. Hospital should be designed based on, the bed related in patient, outpatient functions, diagnosis and treatment. And to create a optimal treatment environment for patients challenged with persevering through an intimidating and life changing experience.
Inpatient units are on the more private zone , but looking out onto gardens and green roof areas
Operation theatre and icu are restricted area where controlled flow of circulation is required.
Based on the circulation patten divided into three blocks for emrgengy, diagnisis and outpatient.
The cancer hospital design integrates with the surrounding landscape to promote optimism, empowerment and rehabilitation. the hospital precinct houses the full spectrum of cancer care services including initial diagnosis, surgery, treatment such aschemotherapy, radiation oncology, alternative medicines and extensive rehabilitation inpatient and outpatient services. The design embraces the importance of nature and landscape in the care, treatment and rehabilitation of cancer care patients by seamlessly integrating internal and external spaces.
ELEVATION
The building is seperated into blocks on each floor each block having a narrow foot print to provide natural light to every bedroom, counsultation room and client interface. Majority of the rooms have access to windows with excellent views to landscaped courtyards, natural light and ventilation.

Rurals -Katcheri Thalavaipuram, Tuticorin.
To make a comprehensive study of rural settlement that is an exemplar of collective design evolved organically over a period of time, survey and understanding the traditional architecture and construction techniques of the settlement.
The village has a total of 208 farmilies with agriculture being the traditional occupation of the people. The housing typologies range from thatch houses followed by mud and brick structures. This documentaion gave a hoslistic understanding of socio-cultural, geographical and economic aspects that shape the built environment and the community.
