The Manager, Site Services – West Region is primarily responsible for the management and oversight of a broad range of key site services for the West Region (GA, KY, CA) Campuses including: security, mailroom, food services, graphics/reproduction, mail copy services, housekeeping, conference room management, AV, pest control, shipping and receiving, grounds maintenance. Responsibilities also include; Subject Matter Expertise for one or more services, Customer Relationship Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Performance Management, Contractual Obligations, Contractor Safety and EHS Compliance. Responsibilities for this position include: Responsible for customer relationship management and the creation of valuable customer workplace experiences enabling the business environment; Support Site Governance council inclusive of senior Business Partners developing common goals and strategic objectives with emphasis on productivity improvements, employee retention & work place experience, efficiency in operations and communications; Launch customer facing CRM program with emphasis on single point of contact for Business Partners related to; synergies, opportunities, communications, technology, and processes providing a platform to improve strategic efficiencies integrated across a broad JNJ cross sector; Manages and coordinates all facilities support requirements for Business Partner new product launches, single point of contact navigating across; multiple sectors, regions and facilitating operational efficiencies to meet our business strategic objectives; Manage outside contract service providers with accountability for cost reduction and vendor consolidation in collaboration with Procurement, facilities leaders and other J&J business partners; Accountability for operational expense budgets, capital budgets, driving cost reductions, cost efficiencies, and optimized contractor management; Provides leadership and Subject Matter Expertise for internal customers and service providers; Provides site level leadership for Emergency Response and BCP; Manages and co-develops Maintenance Utilities and Project Delivery site-specific objectives integrated into the contractual obligations for performance and service levels; Jointly drive cross-functional/cross-company innovation and best practices. May lead or participate on cross-functional/cross-company teams/initiatives; Provide strategic problem solving solutions that drives customer value across a broad spectrum of project delivery services to enable improvement in multi-affiliate business plans and strategies resulting in improved performance for Service Provider insuring business and initiative success; Manages /Co- Develops cross region Harmonization efforts with M&U service provider identifying areas for improvement and areas of opportunity and innovation; Establishes common metrics in cooperation with our internal customer input for service provider M&U activities with focus on status and improvements; Participates in the development of a cross regional infrastructure plan; Involved in the oversight of the outsourced activities of facilities’ diverse group of service providers implementing a platform that spans the GA/KY/CA region with focus on optimizing service levels and driving operational efficiencies; Provide leadership to drive contractor innovation and use of technology to deliver best practices and customer service levels; Provide leadership and direction for the talent development of assigned internal resources and alignment of external resources in the delivery of services; Responsible for supporting site tenant council’s to drive VOC accountability. Additional responsibilities include: Collaborate with all aspects of facilities operations to insure optimized asset management & service provision; Carries out duties in compliance with all local, state and federal regulations including FDA, EPA, OSHA, and DEA. Provide leadership for internal and external inspections (MAARS, ISO, AALAC, DEP, FM); Responsible for ensuring compliance with all facilities and J&J contractor safety guidelines; Acts as facilities liaison to the local community in the areas of Emergency Services and other community outreach programs. Qualifications
A Bachelors degree is required; An Engineering/Business or equivalent discipline is preferred; Minimum of 5 years supervisory experience in Maintenance, Utilities, Project Delivery, or Site Services required; Minimum of 5 years related experience in facilities management required; Supplier relationship management experience required; Communication skills written and oral required; Contract negotiation/execution and project management skills required; Ability to focus strategically while maintaining a tactical/operational focus required; Broad understanding of facilities management and compliance requirements required; Management experience with exempt, non-exempt, and external resources required; Ability to effectively partner and deliver results in a Matrix environment required; Ability to work in a team environment of professionals with diverse skills and competencies spanning business and technical areas required; Ability to adapt emerging best practices and industry innovations required; Ability to lead diverse teams through change and organizational transformation required; While performing the duties of this job, the employee needs to be mobile and able to independently transport themselves between various sites/locations, as dictated by the essential functions and responsibilities of the position.
