Kryshana Ananthan
Mom / Creative / Storyteller / StrategistI’m a mother first. But professionally, I’ve worn many hats — as a designer, storyteller, brand strategist, communicator and allaround creative.
As a young child, I was always babbling on about one thing or another; I connected to the world through stories. And over time, I have seen how truly impactful the right stories can be: how they can shape culture as well as influence people. I love bringing stories to life in creative ways, both visually and verbally.
Over the past decade, I’ve worked across the creative spectrum — as a designer, producer, writer and communicator — helping businesses build their brands and share incredible stories with the world. Some clients and companies I’ve worked with include Lyft, Okta, Coca-Cola, The US Olympic Committee, Yahoo, Cloudera, TIAA, Thorn, Boeing and Cisco, among others.
01 Company Kickoff
Event Production | Keynote Development | Creative Direction
In February 2022, Okta brought over 5,000 global employees together for the first in-person Company Kickoff event postpandemic at the Mirage, Las Vegas. The event took place over the course of 3 days with 6 mainstage keynotes, multiple breakout sessions and entertainment programming for Okta’s employees throughout the event.
All the keynotes and various breakout sessions during the event were themed “Believe.” As Okta emerged from the pandemic an even stronger force as a digital identity provider, employees were encouraged and inspired to believe in the company, believe in the mission, believe in the culture and believe in one another.
I planned and led the production of all 6 mainstage keynotes as well as the creative direction for the entire event and all its collateral.

Okta Showcase
Keynote Development | Creative Direction
Every year, Okta hosts a product showcase conference where investors, partners and customers are invited to peek behind the curtain at what new product innovations are coming down the pipe. In October 2021, Okta hosted the Showcase conference live for a global virtual audience where the focus was the Auth0 acquisition and the CIAM (Customer Identity and Access Management) opportunity.
As the keynote development lead, I was responsible for developing the narrative for the main keynote as well as breakaway sessions while providing creative direction and oversight on the visual design of the slide collateral and event media (videos, graphics etc.).

05 Stop Sextortion
Storytelling | Web Design | Social Media | Creative Direction
Knowing who to trust can be tricky, especially when you’re a teenager. When you add social media and the internet at large, into the equation, things get really difficult. Sextortion — being blackmailed with the threat of revealing intimate pictures you sent someone — can ruin a teen’s life.
During my time at CI&T, I led the production of an award winning campaign against Sextortion for non-profit organization, Thorn. We created a mobile first microsite showcasing an animated video about sextortion and created social sharing mechanisms for teenagers, parents and educators to open up the conversation and prevent sextortion at the source.
The campaign was awarded a Best In Class Interactive Media Award and was featured in the Huffington Post and Refinery29 among other prominent publications.

06 Foundation Medicine
Storytelling | Presentation Design | Creative Direction

In 2015, I led a team in reimagining how Foundation Medicine tells their story in a keynote presentation and taking the deck from concept to execution. This included everything from crafting the narrative to designing custom graphics, conceptualizing each slide and animating the deck.
