Context Plan: The context is a mix of planned neighbourhoods of Punjabi Bagh and Paschim Puri and unplanned urban village - Madipur. The site lies at the junction of these varying neighbourhoods.

3 DISSERTATION Public Spaces: the key to a successful city academic project: research based New Delhi | 2018
Humans are social beings. Humans need space to breathe, to walk, to gather, to play, to interact and to indulge themselves in unplanned social activities. A person needs to be socially fit and interactive to survive through their hustle-bustle lives. Public spaces provide the best platform to bridge the gap between work and social life. Public spaces are such powerful places which invite people from different parts of the city, engage them in multiple activities. The study brings out the importance of public spaces in this constantly urbanizing cities and tries to find design guidelines for successful public spaces in the 21st- century cities. What are the factors that make public spaces successful in a metropolitan city and how does it contribute to the success of the city?

4 PUBLIC AFFAIR: DECODING PRINCIPLES OF URBAN PUBLIC REALM Study of San Siro neighbourhood CEPT University | Politecnico Di Milano Milan, Italy | 2019
Mapping the public activities at the core and on the edges of a public housing estate in the metropolis of Milan. San Siro is a vast district of Milan, located about 5 km North-West from the city centre. The district of San Siro, apart from being home to the world-famous stadium, comprises one of Aler’s largest public housing estates in Milan, commonly known as ‘Quadrilatero’. Quadrilatero is organisation of squares surrounded by main roads and tram line. All the roads have their distinctive qualities which either connect or disconnect San Siro neighbourhood from its periphery. The study focuses on the core and edges of the neighbourhood and to understand the nature of public activities that exist at the core and on the periphery.

6 BUSINESS CENTRE Academic project - mixed-use office complex Gurugram | 2018
The Business Centre is a small-scale transit-oriented destination featuring a mid-rise luxury tower with a composition of high-end office floors, residential floors and mixed-use public realm at its base, derived from the requirements of the programme. Anchoring the soaring landmark towers, and providing a new social destination for people, comprising nearly 6000 square metres of retail and dining as well as open-to-air public plazas for recreational and cultural activities.

38
site plan
The polygonal design of the complex is evolved by reinforcing key connections through the site. Terraced balconies, landscaped roof areas, open-air spaces, shaded seating for public and a grand central plaza, all reinforce the idea of a fluid and choreographed circulation system at the core of the retail complex.
