FORMER STUDENT-ATHLETE DONOR SPOTLIGHT “As a graduate and former Kennesaw State student-athlete, I want the very best in the way of facilities, equipment and the tools necessary to support a winning team. As competitors in life, we all want to be associated with winners and best in class organizations like KSU. I would encourage everyone who has had the opportunity to be a part of our school to make a financial commitment, no matter how great or small. Your investment will go a long way in helping us to win championships and give our student-athletes the tools they need to be successful.” - Spencer Askew | Golf ‘00
“I am proud to see the growth that has taken place at KSU. So many people have invested time, talent and finances to make this growing tradition flourish. However, with this growth comes new challenges and great opportunities. I challenge every fan, friend and alum to get involved financially at whatever level you can. As Vaughn Williams, Director of Athletics, shared...“It takes commitment and courage to be an Owl.” - John Kown | Baseball ‘00 9

Please Note: Gifts-In-Kind are not accepted in lieu of cash for those wishing to receive football benefits. All Gifts-in-Kind must be approved by KSUAA before being accepted.
Matching Gifts: Many companies and corporations provide matching gift programs for employee contributions. Verify with your employer that matching gifts can be made to increase your gift and membership level to The Owls Fund. Major Giving Opportunities: As The Owls Fund strives to provide funds for student-athlete scholarships, it is also important to continue the efforts of funding athletic endowments and improving facilities for our programs. Private investments are crucial to continually provide the best experience possible for our student-athletes to be competitive on an annual basis. Athletic Endowments: Endowments ensure the future of Kennesaw State Athletic scholarships. All donations to support an endowment are invested and help fund scholarships for our student-athletes. The minimum requirement to create a new endowed scholarship begins at $25,0000. Sport Specific Giving: Each of Kennesaw State’s sports programs has its own fund which members can contribute toward in addition to their annual fund donation. Restricted gifts are integral to Kennesaw State’s commitment to a broad-based athletic program and allow each program to meet its specific needs. Gifts of Securities: The Owls Fund has the ability to accept gifts of stock, mutual funds or other securities. Making a gift of securities often means significant tax benefits for the donor. For more information, please contact The Owls Fund.
