In addition, through a year-long administrative internship, the purposes, methodologies, and applications of quantitative and qualitative data-based research will provide insight into how administrators and policy researchers acquire and use knowledge to understand crosscultural communication, historical and political foundations of education, and the role of collaborative engagement of all stakeholders. Aspiring leaders seeking Florida Educational Leadership Certification are encouraged to apply. Individuals who possess a master’s degree in a field other than educational leadership may consider the 30-credit Modified Program in Educational Leadership if they do not want to earn a second master’s degree. However, masters degree students are given priority in both admission and course registration.
