STAYING IN MAKKAH AFTER THE HAJJ

(Dar al-Salam 3131) Abu al-Tahir and Harmalah ibn Yahya narrated:i both said: Ibn Wahb reported; Yunus ibn Yazid reported; from Ibn Shihab; that [Ali ibn Husayn reported to him; that [Amr ibn [Uthman ibn [Affan reported to him; from Usamah ibn Zayd ibn Harithah; that he said: ‘Messenger of God! Will you be staying in your home in Makkah?’ He said: ‘Has [Aqil left us any homes or houses?’ [Aqil and Talib inherited Abu Talib, while Ja[far and [Ali inherited nothing from him as they were Muslims, while [Aqil and Talib were unbelievers.
