Welcome Thank you for considering The Victory Dolls as a potential fundraising opportunity for your Honor Flight organization.
The Victory Dolls are a vintage Andrew Sisters-inspired, musical harmony group starring Florida‘s leading ladies of theater. Featuring 21 classic songs from the World War II and 1940s era, such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, White Cliffs of Dover, We Will Meet Again, As Time Goes By, Shoo Shoo Baby, and many others.
The Victory Dolls mission is to honor our brave and courageous veterans, military, and first responders across the country who work tirelessly to protect us all. The Victory Dolls have created a unique fundraising
opportunity for Honor Flight chapters around the country to raise money AT ABSOLUTELY NO COST TO YOU.

tips to ensure you will have all the tools necessary to have a fun and profitable fundraising experience

includes video, 21 of the most popular songs from the
World War II and 1940s era, and unique historical narration covering some of the most important moments from that time as told to the audience by The Victory Dolls cast.

How the Victory Dolls Fundraising Agreement Works At no cost to you, The Victory Dolls will fly into your city and perform an unforgettable 90 minute show that includes a Meet and Greet for all guests ( $7500 value). The Victory Dolls will do all advance press to help boost ticket sales and publicize the event ($1000 value). The Victory Dolls will supply critical marketing support via Social Media and E-mail Blasts ( $1000 value). The Victory Dolls will provide attractive digital artwork for posters, promo cards, and flyers for Honor Flight Network to print locally ($1500 value).

The Deal
50/50 split on all ticket sales For example: If 400 people pay $40 for a ticket, then that raises $8,000 for Honor Flight
400 people pay $40 for a ticket = $8000 The more performances by The Victory Dolls, the more net profit for Honor Flight, at no cost to you.

Successful Strategies to Sell Tickets

START EARLY. The quicker you begin planning for a fundraiser, the more money you will be able to raise for Honor Flight, while also reaching a bigger audience.
USE SOCIAL MEDIA. Use status updates on Facebook, Twitter, etc. to keep your friends apprised of your fundraising and to provide a link to your fundraising page.
SET A GOAL. Shoot for the stars, but always make sure your goal is attainable
BE CREATIVE. A successful fundraising effort often begins with a creative idea that not only can generate revenue, but will also excite participants/donors. Make it fun!
IDENTIFY PROSPECTS. You have a slew of friends, family members, colleagues, and acquaintances who will support your effort.
FORM A TEAM. There is strength in numbers! Encourage friends acquaintances, family members, and colleagues to team up with you to support the cause!
MAKE A GREAT CASE. Tell your story. Let people know why you’re passionate about the cause, and why they should join you.
STAY THE COURSE. It’s important to keep your focus on the task at hand. Remind yourself of why you’re participating, and who you’re raising funds for.
USE EMAIL / LETTERS. Send out personal emails and letters to introduce the Honor Flight organization and its cause, and express the passion for your support.
REMEMBER TO SAY THANK YOU. Be sure to let those contributing know how appreciative you are for their support by sending a letter, email, photo. etc.

Teamwork Recruit friends, family, and other passionate people to raise funds with you. Sharing your passion is both inspiring and contagious! By sharing your commitment to Honor Flight and inspiring others to follow your lead, you will multiply the impact you have. Create a team. There is power in numbers! Brainstorm with your team on how you can inspire others to become a part of the Fundraising team. Use social media to post about your fundraising efforts and always update your feed to keep people informed AND interested. Encourage team members to get their friends, family members, and colleagues to support the effort. Reach out to the community and allow them to be involved.

Social Media Facebook Images and short videos are shared the most on Facebook. Use images related to why you are fundraising. Here are some examples: • Use an image or video of who you are honoring. • Post videos and images of past performances and fundraising tactics to help spread the message in a clear way, while showing real examples.

Twitter Use Twitter to “tweet” about your fundraising effort and to make others aware of the organization you’re supporting. Here are some examples: • Write short tweets about your Fundraiser. Include a relevant hashtag and the URL link to both the Honor Flight and The Victory Dolls pages. • Use personal images or videos that are related to your story, or take images from the Honor Flight and The Victory Dolls social media pages and websites to use in your posts. This helps your audience visualize why you are fundraising.
Instagram Utilize Instagram to share photos and videos regarding your fundraising activities. Here are some examples: • When posting a picture on Instagram, make sure to use relevant hashtags and include a link to the fundraising page in your bio. Caption your picture “Link to my fundraising page is in my bio” to reach a wider audience. • Use Instagram’s IGTV feature and create a quick video to share.
