A lot of people were surprised when Lonely Planet judged Taranaki the world’s #2 region to visit, but not those who have been here recently. As you’ll discover, there’s a lot on offer: gleaming galleries to sparkling surf, a magnificent mountain to welcoming hospitality, amazing museums to cool cafés and so much more. Make sure you explore far beyond the test this weekend to discover all that Taranaki has to offer, and why it’s considered one of the world’s best places to visit, live, work and play.
