Dark in the night the lion was asleep, the small ladybug was asleep, and the little rabbit was asleep. However, Mimi could not fall asleep. The tree blinked and said to Mimi: "Listen, I'll sing a song for you." Leaves start dancing with the music, and so do Mimi's rocking braids.
Lion woke up. He stretched and said: "Look Mimi, I'll show you magic." Lion waved his tail, the dark of the night vanished, and the bright colors of rainbows shined.
Wind woke up, too. He made a yawn so big that it awoke all of his friends in the tree, whom held tight in surprise.
Wind kept yawning, as if to say: "I'm still sleepy, how I wish to go back to sleep." Or as if to say: "I'm bored, let's play!"
Curious clouds came over. In their ears the tree whispered: "Quietly, quietly, little kite is still sleeping."
In little kite's dream, the sky is decorated by many candies, cotton candy, lollipops, jelly candy, and Mimi is the princess of this great Candyland!
In the hollows of the tree lives the mysterious spider. No one has ever seen him, only the beautiful shining nets of woven dreams he leaves behind. Everybody climbs up and down them, searching for their favorite dream.
"What is it that smells so sweet? Sweet as a wonderful dream!" asked the Lion. It's the bubbly raindrops! They were falling gently from the cotton candy clouds drifting across the playful wind and sinking into the earth.
Wherever the little raindrops kissed the earth colorful sprouts grew up. Mimi asked them: "I want to grow as high as the sky, would you like to join me?" The little sprouts sway in excitement, and their wishes fly along with Mimi to a place far away.
Here in this far away place, the waves make a peaceful rhythm. Mimi and her friends sing in harmony.
"Lalala...lalala...lala...la"(lullaby) The tree continues to sing, and Wind and Stars dance around her. Lion gently covers Mimi with the blanket of clouds. Mimi says to all her friends, "I wish you sweet dreams!"
