Amplify Lawrence provides a safe-space for femmes and others with marginalized gender identities in the community to come together, inspire one another, andhave a voice.

We are dedicated to educating and empowering youth through musical exploration, creative expression, andperformance.

Our goalis to foster the growth, self-respect, collaboration, and criticalthinking among individuals of allbackgrounds and abilities within a non-competitive learning environment.

On June 25, 2024, Amplify Lawre campers participated in a zine making workshop led by The Emily Taylor Center for Women & Gender Equity’s Zine Fellow Monty Protest and Assistant Director Meg Williams. Campers were invited to create pages exploring the ways that music builds relationships and creates community for inclusion in collaborative zine

Amplify / girls rock

Through programs like Femme Frequencies and Paper Plains Zine Fest, the Emily Taylor Center encourages people to practice feminism and create communitythrough sharing music and making zines!
