Quick access to your knife can be the difference between life and death. The Survival AO takes that to heart, and features an assisted opening blade that is one-hand operable. The safety barrel lock will keep the blade closed when in your pocket or as a secondary lock when opened. The easy to use plunge lock makes it easy to close the knife with just one hand. The next generation of survival pocket knives, the Compact II builds off of the original to make it the best survival pocket knife we’ve ever made. The most notable change is a more robust handle with a rubber overmold and a prominent finger cut out for easy use. The full fine edge blade, made of 420HC, is made in Portland OR and features a nail nick to assist in opening. With finger jimping on the top of the blade, the grippy rubber overmold and the ergonomic handle design, the Compact II won’t slip away when you need it most and conditions get rough. The lock back mechanism keeps the knife safely open during use but is easy to close, even while wearing gloves. The lanyard hole gives extra flexibility in carrying options. This is Bear’s new choice for a back-up survival knife.

The rugged, steel backed construction is the first indication that this Card Tool isn’t like the rest. The eFECT II is an improvement on Gerber’s now iconic compact multi-tool for the AR-15 / M4 / M16 weapons platform. The eFECT II features an M249 style carbon scraper for cleaning out the inside of the bolt carrier, a second contoured steel scraper for cleaning caked on carbon from the bolt, and a removable dental-style carbon pick for cleaning the ejector end of the bolt. Unscrew the dental pick and thread a cleaning cable to the eFECT II to use the tool as a handle for your cleaning cable.
