Inspiration RETNA , MARQUIS LEWIS A contemporary graffiti artist who has developed a distinctive constructed script which is derived from egyptian and arabic calligraphy. Following the concept, The Paraoh collection has a self derived script printed over it inspired from sanskrit calligraphy. Open spaces , Cosmopolitan Vibe ,Industrial , Contemporary , Airy are some styles that worked as an inspiration for my designs. The forms were generated from the art of the graffiti artists and the letters of sanskrit calligraphy.

La’’PoussierD’ivoire THIS IS SELF INITIATED PROJECT. The brief of the project was to design an evening bags collection taking forms inspiration from geometry and the theme and material from the story board as follows.
Luxe minimalism If you are going to dress down, your accessories are going to have to dress up --- way up.Embellishments like crystal and feathers have taken over cross-body , tiny bags, giving the season’s accessories a bright and rich feeling. There’s also beautiful geometry to the season’s bags.
Conceptual sketches
The Rebel Be Embracing the style with a sense of integrity and timelessness. The octahedron form is the attraction catch of the bag. The opening is giving a chic and a unique look.The handle is making it a wristlet or a handbag. The size of the bag is 9�. The lining used in the collection is grey acetate.
EetchCcontour The belt bag got a sophisticated makeover this season. It brings class to a handsfree accessory. The debate is between the circles or squares this season and I chose pentagan to play with. It has a white belt attached diagonally to it , which embraces the look of the bag.
The Fab Fur A new kind of glamour - a sort of couture infused- take on feathers , furr and crystal. The style of the bag is comforting, authentic and familiar quality. The design is inspired by the “tiffin box”. The opening gives it a very chic and unique look. The handle of the bag makes it a wristlet or a handbag. The size of the bag is 15”.
Internship at
Bechic clutches A brand of luxury handcrafted clutches and accessories based in Mumbai, maharashtra. Handpicked each shell and other elements , carefully crafted each masterpiece with the finest eye to detail. Internship brief : To learn the working of the brand and to take in notice the details of each process. I was instructed to design metal handles of resin clutch boxes and metal clutches taking the inspiration as ‘FLORAL’, hereby are glances of my work at Bechic.
Inspiration
Chamba hide Module Brief : Craft documentation and Product development. Educational tour was organised from the university to study the handicrafts of Chamba ,Himachal. Learning : To adapt the techniques and processes of chamba leather karigars and design accordingly incorporating the techniques. To work with them in their work spaces , to understand their working ethics and norms and get our designs executed respectively.
Handcrafted double panel leather wallet with cross stitch details inspired from the leather trends 18-19 and chamba techniques. • Each hole on the front panel is done by nail and hammer. • The leather used is vegetable tan leather. • Application of Oil colour on the leather done is persian blue. • Tone on tone plays a very minimalist yet gives an impactful look.
The triple folding wallet handcrafted with a knot detail at the front and a contrast panel. • Inside are 6 card slots and nature form inspired pockets. • Application of oil colour on the leather done is sacramento green.
• The weaving technique is the most practiced technique of chamba leather craft. hence, it is incorporated in my design. • The constellation threadwork is inspired from the leather forecast 18-19. • There’s an additional hidden slot given inside.
The money clip wallet. • To explore the varities of wallets , I tried this money clip wallet. • There’s contrast weaving and pattern inspired by one of the techniques of their leather craft.
Luxique The project breif : To understand the demographics of a client by researching through magazines and create a client board. Learning contruction and pattern making of the bag. Understanding the hardware details. Understanding the market sourcing.
