2017 Regional Conference Planning Team
Thank you to everyone who was able to attend the 2017 ACUI Region II Conference. And an extra special thank you to our Conference Planning Team. They worked above and beyond to ensure all of our attendees had the best possible experience. It was an excellent weekend of educational sessions, fantastic speakers, great food, and good company. I always leave our regional conferences even more inspired after seeing all Region II is doing in our college unions. If you weren’t able to make it, this newsletter offers some ways to check out information we offered during the Regional Business Meeting. As 2017 closes down on our campuses and we look at opportunities and goals for 2018, it’s a perfect time to consider a volunteer role within the region. We have a few spots on the Regional Leadership Team, for which applications are now due December 15! As a regional volunteer, you not only get to further the mission of ACUI, but also gain opportunities for your own professional development. If you have any questions about the opportunities outlined later in the newsletter, I would be happy to talk with you. Wendy Denman, Region II Director
