Letter from the Director Greetings Region II! The Regional Conference is approaching quickly, and I am excited for all the hard work the Conference Planning Team has been putting in over the last several months. I had the chance to meet with the Conference Planning Team last June at Missouri State University and hear some of the great things they have planned. Now is the time to make your final plans to join us November 3-5 at Missouri State University as we show off all the great things Region II is doing. From applying for awards to booking your travel, this newsletter outlines what to do now. And be sure you’re following our social media as we will be announcing keynote speakers and preconference opportunities soon. In the next newsletter we hope to highlight the recent work of our Regional Leadership Team. We have been working on our strategic plan for the region, looking at ways to increase volunteer participation, and outlining how to address your feedback from our last regional survey. In the meantime, please let me know if there’s any questions or items I can help with. Wendy Denman Region II Director
