The project needs to meet the educational space functions required by the students of the Design School. The site's original function is a parking lot which is also an entrance linking the outside old military dependents and the university. The main idea is that besides the requirements of educational function, the building should make further planning and imagination of students' future life. Therefore, as a student of the design school myself, I realize the importance that our design work should be seen by as many as people to not only reach a better or further discussion to be better, but also have more opportunities to spread our design vision to the society.

In today's society where there are many high-rise buildings, the rise of cities has led to the vigorous development of building buildings, moving towards an urban social system with high population density. In order to maintain an unbreakable order and accommodate more floating people from outside, artificial barriers have been built one after another to create a usable space where independent individuals can live alone and a life style that is not subject to external interference. Therefore, the emotions between people are gradually alienated, and people speed up the pace of life in order to pay attention to efficiency, benefits, and convenience. Because they don't want others to occupy too much of their time, they are indifferent to things that are not related to them. The alienation of interpersonal relationships has become a feature of urban environment life, and everyone's sense of loneliness is born with it. This is the "coexisting state of loneliness that exists because of architecture" that people are most often exposed to in modern life. However, this is just one of the coexistence patterns of loneliness and architecture.
Singular building with bare context lonely standing beside the river
An elder care center reveal how elder move their muscles through the massive opening space
Several residentials with muti-layer illegal constructions, show organic form
Texture design studio which could continue to use the element and make better context and style
The old and abandoned business building with several pieces of broken windows reveals a mystery interior space
Combined the element of nearby vendors and the broken space, an employment agency can maintain the figure of multiple entrances for different professions
Self-construction by the local resident to meet the needs of their daily life. The reconstruction layer transit the original to a mystery context
The new context of the roof provides unique light for the users. The holy church could use this element to create an informal space and try to figure out the differences between the physical and mental worlds.

Shuangxi District was once prosperous in the past due to the natural advantages of river channels and mineral veins, and had developed into an extremely prosperous characteristic industrial settlement. Over time, the lives of local residents used to rely on water resources, and rainwater was inseparable from daily laundry, drinking water, and freight transportation. Nowadays, with the construction of water conservancy pipelines and railway roads, the relationship between residents and water is facing a change. While the industry is declining, it also loses a large number of young people and community vitality. Water can carry a boat or capsize it. Facing the constant pressure from the natural environment, it has become the biggest resistance to cutting off the connection between various areas in the urban area. This topic hopes to cooperate with the current urban planning strategy, reorganize the context of towns and nature, and through professional analysis and design operations, find a way to revive a new urban positioning for the type of towns that have declined in industry Shuangxi District plans urban positioning and regional characteristics.
Through the reuse of the riverside space, a new regional impression of the Shuangxi District is created. Combined with the unique architectural texture of riverside life, it is transformed into a new spatial experience. Strengthen the connection of its agricultural river life, and use the naturally generated riverside space and the old breakwater structure to create a new public square, provide new activity space for local residents, and get closer to natural water resources. Fully utilize the advantages of water source education and agricultural culture to strengthen the characteristics of Shuangxi as a special zone and find a clearer positioning as a city.

The thesis project is a one-year project in which students must organize and manage a particular issue they care about. And care about the most is the survival issue under the background of the urban system which contains plenty of resources but fails to guarantee every resident's basic living quality. Within professional papers research, frequent discussion with my advisable professor, rigorous design proposing and conducting, the final result reveals the possibilities of organizing the resources and urban infrastructure in the same planning to make it.
SATELLITE CITY OF TAIPEI Food Waste Stage
Transport
the Highest Old Houses( >40 year old) Proportion (56.5%) in Taipei City
Not suitable for living No place to add vertical moving impprovement
Wanhua District has a high density of old houses. I think the houses that are closer to the house to be changed have the highest availability, which makes the program of simple living possible. In addition, the adjacent market has the space function of public circulation, a large number of food resources and eating functions, and has the opportunity to be placed in the shared kitchen and social space. What's more, the underground MRT station under construction has the functions of public toilets, shortterm storage, and serving the floating population. It has the potential to be developed into shared bathhouses and self-storage facilities through upgrading and design.
With the continuous development of civilization, the water source is no longer just to maintain physiological needs, but also incorporates the concept of hygiene and cleanliness, so that people can maintain a more permanent physical health and a good image required for social interaction; the function of food is extended to eating and drinking. The space for cooking; the space for socializing has more diverse forms so that more social needs with different purposes can be met. In addition to the size of the space people need, the value of most of them often varies according to the degree of demand, commonality, and privateness. In the various living spaces of the city, many types of buildings based on this can be found.
Comprehend the state o f people’s residence as a balance composed of three mental elements and five core physical elements, starting from the characters of Homeless, residence, and life.
Homeless: the existence that provides a sense of belonging and comfort is often constructed by ethical relationships.
Houseless: refers specifically to a physical place that meets the sheltering needs of survival
Lifeless: in addition to survival behavior, motivation comes from the behavior of personal will.
Five Core Elements : Food, Water, Sleep, Social, Purpose.

The functions of the bathhouse and self-storage enhance the node significance of the original post station, making it a part of the daily lives of the ethnic groups in Taipei. The original function of the gas station at the entrance of the base is retained and integrated with the MRT station lobby, and a store serving driving needs and users’ supplementary livelihood needs are also included. The upper floor is divided into two systems, self-storage, and a shared bathroom.
grow with the growth of Taipei workers living in the city.
Bathhouse public bath area upper floor contains funtions of laundry, open connect to storage system.
Soft Healing Square 7.8 meters high multi-layers of private and public space, make users feel safe .
Stair to Road change the feeling and be brave to face the stronger forces.
Gather the food resources abandanded by the city restaurant, reuse process also be shown to pass the idea and skills of reusing the second-hand food resources.
people do not always have cooking areas at home, this provides them with a better way to reduce the cost of having a kitchen and going out to eat.
With the idea of self-cooking, it is a choice for people to choose the easiest way to heat up their meals.
For those who live on the second layer, this is their semi-private route .
combine the local cherish activities make people notice sharing food is easy to achieve.
My proposal utilizes the characteristics of many existing food resources, eating functions, and public circulation, respectively putting them into the shared kitchen, social square, and the program that integrates regional regeneration materials.
Food Regeneration Path
make visible the finishing process of renewable resources.
Ground floor: connect the hinterland of the community to create a common food square Floor 1, 2: an independent shared kitchen space, where community and urban aid groups can use and distribute meals
Floor2 platform to level 3: extending the original food stalls on the second floor of the market outwards Floor 3: see the process of washing and reforming ingredients and provide people with heating food Floor 4: dine at the leftover food restaurant, and see the process of sorting out second-hand resources in the market, and the final moving line arrives.

USR Project of the second phase (2020-2022) of the University Social Responsibility Program (USR Program) launched by the Ministry of Education, Taiwan: A Sustainable Operational Plan for the Cultural Green Corridor that links two Taoyuan Canals from the Zhongli District
•Responsible for street block and building textures analysis
Since the history of Taiwan has been recorded in documents, Zhongli was first cultivated in the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty. Because there are Laojie Creek and Xinjie Creek in the area, they interact to form a valley in the middle, so the original name of Zhongli - Jianzili was formed. Later, Jiangu’s topographical advantages, with rivers on both sides and flat land in the middle, also became the urban development center of Zhongli.Although Zhongli was originally a transportation hub city, the residents of Zhongli, the Japanese government and the later national government did not seem to want to pay attention to this matter. The Japanese government is doing urban planning that is a symbol of power; the residents of Zhongli are developing their homes organically; the national government after the liberation was busy dealing with the riots, and did not give any future ideas and practices for Zhongli.
No one thinks about Zhongli from the perspective of transportation, but this is the essence of Zhongli as a city.
During World War II, the vicinity of Zhongli Station was bombed by Allied planes, during which there was no new construction but only destruction. At the beginning of the restoration, it was devastated and it was not easy to restore. After the civil war between the Kuomintang and the Communist Party, the national army withdrew to Taiwan, and Zhongli was the location of the northern military region. There were temporary dilapidated buildings everywhere, and the city was in chaos.
In the 61st year of the Republic of China, the urban expansion plan of Zhongliping Town was implemented, and the Neili Industrial Zone was expanded from 41 hectares to 421 hectares. In the sixty-fifth year of the Republic of China (1976), the Zhongli Industrial Zone was fully completed and attracted more people to enter Zhongli, thus driving the development of commerce.
Central West Road in the 1960s made the downtown area on the west bank of Laojie Creek not limited to the vicinity of Xinming Market, and Xinmingli in the north was divided into Guangmingli and Yongguangli.
The opening of the Yuanhua Road Tunnel in the 1970s was the beginning of the completion of the inner ring line in the urban area. This inner ring line can be said to include major political, commercial, transportation, financial and other institutions.
The outer ring road that was completed in the 1980s is composed of ring north, ring west, ring south and ring east roads. The completion of this outer ring also shifted the municipal center to ring north road, strengthened its administrative organs, and drove the central business area to this area. develop.
However, Zhongli City, which is located in the Greater Taipei metropolitan area in the north and the Hsinchu subcity in the south, has risen much faster than the development of transportation. The airport MRT currently under construction is aimed at connecting Taoyuan International Airport, HSR Tsingpu Station, and Zhongli Railway Station17, but it is still ineffective for people going directly from Zhongli City to the Taipei area. However, there is close communication between Zhongli City and Taoyuan City, but only the main road of Taiwan Line can be used.

Shattered Blocks Business Living Cul & Education Park
The north of Zhongli Railway Station is a commercial area, and the south is mainly a residential area. In the case of high occupancy and high occupancy, residential areas have different space usage due to the high or low construction coverage rate. In places with a low building coverage rate, more external space will be utilized to cope with insufficient living space. For example, the broken street outlines and triangular street outlines caused by the cutting of river channels or urban planning, and the remaining space will be used for private use.
Large quarter accounts for 44% of the area Narrow alleys & detours make walking uncomfortable.
1,000m2↓ 1,001-3,000m2 3,001-6,000m2 6,001-8,000m2 8,001-10,000m2 10,001-m2 20,001-m2 30,001-m2 50,001-m2
The Japanese government began to carry out the urban planning of Zhongli, and the square in front of Zhongli Station began to widen the project, planning the whole area of Tic-Tac-planned blocks, including the widest road in Zhongli, the largest and tallest building, the largest Gao refers not only to the physical form, but also to the social importance of the spiritual level. Including government agency buildings, police stations, banks, stateowned enterprise buildings, and office buildings are all gathered in this area. Under the ruling policy of the colonial government in the early days of Japanese rule, such institutional buildings often showed symbols of power and order. , not purely for functional considerations, the Tic Tac Toe layout in this area during the Japanese occupation period has many meanings symbolizing sovereignty. With such a commemorative positioning, huge and impressive giant street outlines were built accordingly, with the largest road, wide arcades, and some arcades were even still modernist partition corridors or small squares in front of buildings.
The large streets are usually used for public buildings, but there is no significant gap between the width of the alleys between the large and small streets. The functions in the big outline (parks, schools, stadiums) correspond to the traffic demand, some need to stop for a long time, and some will be traffic jams at specific times. Due to the fast-moving state, the narrow alleys cannot cope with fast-moving vehicles, coupled with the large-scale street profile, resulting in a decrease in the quality of life in this area. The Zhongli area, which has not yet been fully managed, has formed a state of large-scale private land separatism. The use of land belongs to private planning alone, and there is no complete regional planning as a whole. The developing city is seriously affected by commercial interests, so that the building forms an unfriendly arcade space along the street, occupying the maximum use of the street as much as possible, and maximizing commercial interests. On the other hand, the vacant land block with the building coverage rate is internalized on the back of the building that is not touched by outsiders, forming a large block that evades laws and regulations. On the one hand, it blocks the flow of outsiders, and on the other hand, it facilitates the construction of temporary illegal buildings for private use. It shapes the congested and oppressive space of today's streets, resulting in aggregates that cannot be easily penetrated by large street profiles. The remaining trivial gaps become the common spatial perception of walking on the street today—a sense of disorientation in winding and zigzag spaces.

The thesis project is a one-year project in which students must organize and manage a particular issue they care about. This project is main design by Wei Ren Liu and my role is the assistant to support the whole work.
Since the beginning of development, Yonghe has been defined as a satellite residential city attached to Taipei City, and its function is limited to the simple function of service and residence. The urban strategy of the Garden City was proposed in 1955, and a new imagination was put forward for the core of Yonghe's life, but there was no way to stop the influx of immigrants from the central and southern regions and land immigrants. Life and work are separated, and Yonghe is only a place for sleeping. The monotonous and consuming way of life, the indifference to the interaction between communities, and the participation in the creation of public spaces are all passive and indirect participation, which has become the biggest problem in Yonghe City.
Open Space park no.2 is one of the only two public green spaces in Yonghe.
Bussiness District disconnect between commercial core and residential core, only residential land infill.
Public Transportation as a major transportation node of Yongan Market MRT Station to attract foreign tourists.
Road Rank adjacent to secondary roads and alleys attract local residents.
scattering of public facilities results in overly large shortdistance inefficient movement of the core of life.
All types of use that occur in Zhongyonghe can be found around No. 4 Park, and the design incorporates functions.
