ridget Ramey doesn’t just sell real estate; she sells the city of Austin and all that it has to offer! Bridget teams with the worldwide and luxury real estate company Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty. Bridget is highly qualified as an Austin specialist who is also broadly involved in the local community. Her work is “meaningful and fulfilling” in every way and she is proud to have a referral-based business. Bridget loves putting people, places and things together for the good of all, connecting and assisting clients in finding what they need to fulfill their lives in Austin, TX. Bridget specializes in central Austin and Lake Austin, she gets “jazzed” when she is challenged to find a dream home outside of these areas. Her love of research is one of the reasons Bridget got into real estate. Bridget is a small-town girl from Rockport and Aransas Pass, Texas. She loved growing up in the tight-knit community where there was always a sense of family. She has such an affection for her home town that she recently joined the Board of REALTORS® in Rockport and Port Aransas to be able to assist her clients, and spend time back in her roots. She says you can take the girl out of the small town but you can’t take the small town out of the girl. Bridget’s family-owned and operated funeral homes in the Coastal Bend area for over sixty-nine years. Growing up in a family funeral home business helped Bridget gain a thorough understanding of the importance of relationships and work ethic. Bridget has borrowed her family’s concierge approach to helping clients. “In the funeral home business, there is no time to shop around, people need someone to hold their hand,

walk them through the process and handle each and every detail. It needs to be a one-stop shop, with a concierge level of support. I believe the real estate business is much the same. I do the extra leg work, I make sure the i’s are dotted and the t’s are crossed, so my clients can deal with the emotions.” Bridget’s first introduction to Austin was through the doors of the University of Texas, and it was almost immediately that she knew Austin is where she would come to call home. She graduated summa cum laude with degrees in communications, public relations and journalism. After graduating, Bridget became involved in public relations and nonprofit work. Bridget’s personal home-buying experiences propelled her into real estate. She needed to find a new home quickly and became frustrated with her agent who wasn’t thinking “outside the box.” Bridget came to the realization that she needed to be in control of these milestone decisions in her life. Bridget’s love for learning, research, data and people launched her career in real estate. Her connections in her previous nonprofit career created a strong support system from the beginning. She began her real estate world at Coldwell Banker in Westlake, and the senior agents took her under their wing and taught her the fundamentals. She credits her dear friend and business partner, Ryan Rogers, for the many elements of the business he has helped her navigate. The next step of her career landed her at Austin Portfolio Real Estate, the luxury division of Keller Williams. She now calls Kuper Sotheby’s her business home and finds the company the perfect balance of having an international presence, but still a family-owned business. “I have an amazing support system at Kuper’s and feel blessed to be able to pick up the

phone at any time and reach any number of people to help me solve the puzzles of real estate.” After a couple of years in Austin, Bridget decided to return to her roots in pageantry as a way to get to know the city better. As a child, it helped her blossom in the areas of public speaking and community service, and as a teenager she was playing bingo at nursing homes and painting houses with Operation Paint Brush. In 1995, she was crowned Miss Austin USA! Bridget became very involved in the Austin community through this title, including working with Laura Bush. Bridget’s passion for travel remains at the forefront, and she loves the ability to combine her real estate world with her adventures. Bridget never turns down the opportunity to visit the local Sotheby’s offices while on vacation, introduce herself and learn a little about the local market. Bridget has a true love of people and making strong and meaningful connections. She places a high value on communication, respect and in honoring your unique identity.

She refuses to allow technology to take center stage and believes in always ensuring the personal touch prevails. She is a fitness enthusiast and enjoys yoga, hiking, gymnastics, barre classes and stand-up jet skiing. While she is a self-proclaimed “planner,” she loves spontaneity and adventure. She bungee-jumped at 17 years old…something that nearly sent her mother over the edge. She has skydived three times, parasailed, taken on class five white water rapids, four-wheeled the deserts of Moab, truffle hunted in Italy, trail blazed mountains in Colorado, hiked to see glaciers in New Zealand, and takes any and every opportunity to be on an ocean, her true “happy place.” Her membership in the travel club ThirdHome has allowed her to see the world. She has vacationed at a castle in Scotland, fished for piranha in the Amazon, explored Cuba, beach hopped around Bermuda with her besties, and a recent safari in Africa proved to be one of the most magical times of her life. Bridget is rarely seen without her teacup Yorkie, Noah, who has traveled alongside Bridget on many of her excursions, and who she deems the “best closer of the deal ever”!

Five years ago Bridget’s world began to change with the loss of her grandfather, who had stood at the helm of her family. He was a pillar in the Coastal Bend community, was the longest standing member of a school board in the United States and has an elementary school named after him. Just nine months after his passing, Bridget was devastated to say goodbye to her granny, a woman she called her best friend and angel. Only a year and a half later, her mother was diagnosed with cancer and left this world three weeks later. Hurricane Harvey arrived six months after her mother’s death, devastating Bridget’s home town and the funeral home. This kind of overwhelming loss has propelled Bridget

into seizing each and every day to its fullest, to wake up each day with a smile of gratitude and to ensure those you love know exactly how you feel about them. So much about Bridget’s world involves her spirituality and faith in God, and she attributes this to each of her successes and her ability to let life occur organically. Bridget was forced to put her real estate career on somewhat of a hold while she took the time to decide what she wanted next in her life, and

how she would deal with the losses of her loved ones. She holds the monumental family moments and memories close to her heart and has filled her home with their keepsakes. Bridget’s passion to help others never faded and she is back in full force at the helm of her real estate career, excited to forge ahead by helping her clients find a heartwarming home that fits their unique lifestyle.
