AUSTIN REAL PRODUCERS PRESENTS:
Kacy Dolce - Top Agent
acy Dolce knows Texas. Her history and knowledge of this state make her uniquely qualified as she continues to climb higher and higher in the real estate world. Her Texas roots are eight generations deep. She is a member of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is currently working toward her membership in the Colonial Dames Society as she continues to research her family history. One of her grandfathers was a Texas state senator and the other was a South Texas oil and gas man. Kacy is quintessentially Texan, and her love for the state overflows into everything she does.
Kacy grew up in the small town of Rockport, Texas and attended a private catholic school in nearby Corpus Christi. Her father was in the title business and ran several Stewart Title companies in south Texas, so Kacy was exposed to aspects of the real estate business early on. Her first job at 16 was
working at one of her father’s title plants. It was her responsibility to go to the county courthouse to pick up micro phish, and update the title plant.
After graduating from high school, Kacy attended Southern Methodist University in Dallas, where she was a member of Campus Crusade for Christ, the Chi Omega sorority, and was an SMU cheerleader. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business & marketing and a minor in advertising. Her first career was at an advertising firm in Dallas where she was in charge of large accounts like Drug Emporium and the Dallas Stars. She enjoyed the job, but after two years wasn’t making a lot of money and wanted to move on to something else. She moved down to Austin to begin a career in pharmaceutical sales. After six months in the city, she met her soon-to-be-husband on a blind date. Kacy went on to sell pediatric vaccines for another eight years.
While working in pharmaceutical sales, Kacy had her first child, and then 15 months later, had her 2nd. She decided to take a break from work for a while. After having her 3rd and 4th children, she began considering another career change. Her husband Christopher is an owner of Sixthriver, a commercial architecture
and interior design firm. She spent a lot of time thinking, and with the contacts and knowledge they both had, she believed it would be easy for her to parlay into real estate. Back in the late ‘90s, while she was still in sales, Kacy pursued her MBA from St. Edward’s University. With her business acumen and marketing knowledge, she felt confident about launching into the real estate world.

She began her career with Amelia Bullock Realtors, which was a great place to start. They were purchased by Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty in 2014, so she has actually never left her brokerage and has been with the same manager since she started. Kacy admits that it takes a while to get entrenched in the Austin market, to understand the unique sub-markets in the metro area, and to gain the level of proficiency she expects for her clients. Over the past decade-plus, she has made quite a name for herself.

to travel to their family home in Pagosa Springs, CO, or to the beaches in Seaside, FL, and Port Aransas, TX. The family also loves spending time on their boat on Lake Travis and relaxing at their family ranch. She and Christopher are also very involved and dedicated to Catholic education and have served on several Catholic school boards and worked with the Diocese of Austin and Catholic Charities of Central Texas.
Although the family has lived in Austin for years, they have admittedly moved around the town a lot. Kacy jokes that it’s a risk you run when you have
an architect/designer and a realtor in your family. They moved several times to be closer to whichever of their kids’ schools they were attending at the time. They have lived in Tarrytown, the Cliffs over Lake Austin, Lost Creek, the Northwest Hills area, the Uplands, and now in Barton Creek. It’s been advantageous for her business to have lived in so many different pockets around Austin and to have gotten to know the vibes there. It’s enhanced her understanding in invaluable ways. Their family also has a ranch on Lake Travis in Spicewood that has been in the family for over 100 years. It’s a nice refuge for the Dolces, although it’s wild to witness so much development around it. With roots this deep in the Lone Star state and family and friends all around, Austin, Texas is home to her and always will be.
