On behalf of all of us at Kuper Sotheby’s International Realty, it is my pleasure to provide you with our 2017 in Review Market Report. For over forty-five years our firm has played a pivotal role in the real estate landscape in Central and South Texas with over $20B in sales volume to date. Today, we have over three hundred of the most talented and experienced real estate professionals in the industry selling residential and ranch property all over the state of Texas. We want our experience and success to be to your benefit not only when we represent you in a real estate transaction but also when you need insight into the real estate market. The San Antonio and Hill Country markets, which include New Braunfels and Boerne, saw another strong year of real estate in 2017. The strength of this area continues to be its stability and 2017 was no different. The total number of sales in the San Antonio multiple listing service was up 4% over 2016 and the average transaction price also increased 4% to a new high of $250,251. With thousands of new homes slated to be built north of San Antonio along IH10, 281, and I-35, the positive growth should continue into 2018 and beyond. I hope this market report helps give you greater insight into the exciting things happening in our region.
