Other PrOgraMS ONLINE OPPORTUNITIES
A variety of agricultural courses and programs are offered online through universities across the country, as well as through industry companies, organizations, and groups. Consider an online program as an option when pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree because of its flexibility. Online options are especially beneficial when balancing work with school.
TECHNICAL SCHOOLS
Another option to study agriculture is to enroll in a program at a technical school. Programs range from studying to become a diesel mechanic to a veterinary technician. Companies like John Deere also have tech programs to help workers gain experience in the field and to expand their education. Many universities and colleges around the nation have agriculture technology programs where students study for two years to receive a certificate or an Associate’s Degree. Schools, companies, and organizations also offer various industry trainings throughout the year.
