JOB DISCRIPTION

1. The intern will be teaching either English, Math, Science, Creative arts, General Knowledge or a combination. 2. Introducing reading camp for pupils who cannot read on vacation and encouraging pupils to develop the habit of reading through reading competitions, storytelling etc. 3. Engaging pupils with art works, cultural activities and games and encouraging wholesome recreation and constructive use of leisure time 4. Introducing adult literacy education (Optional)

MEASURING RESULT EXPECTED FROM INTERN

The intern is expected to work with the children in the community and be committed to what he/she will be impacting on the youth and children.

KRONOS is a project that aims to educate people in various communities about health related issues that are predominant at a particular point in time. One’s reproductive health, HIV/AIDS, Malaria, Cholera and basic general healthy living are some of the issues handled. This project was chosen to aid in the dissemination of information on these issues to the students and people in the community.

OBJECTIVE: To reach out to these people and educate them on health issues and also promote general healthy living among them.



JOB DESCRIPTION 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

This project is going to be based in the rural areas and some selected communities. Intern will educate and campaign against Malaria, Cholera, HIV/AIDS and other health issues of major concern in the communities. The interns may assist health personnel’s test for diseases in interested members of the communities. Intern maybe asked to have extra time with the kids in the communities. Intern will organise clean up exercise in the community and engage themselves in sporting activities.

JOB DISCRIPTION

The intern will be organizing classes for children in deprived areas with a syllabus. 3. The interns will work together to organize a Career Fair Event which aims at educating the youth about the various career opportunities available. 4. Intern may be asked to have extra time for the kids in the communities. 5. Intern would train/teach students basic ICT as recommended by Microsoft Intern would organise practical computer classes for the students Intern would help assess participants and again do effective follow up to collect testimonies and video for final report Intern would help organise press conferences to serve as closing ceremony on the project Intern would assist students and teachers at the computer laboratory
