To be an interior designer, you must not only design but make a difference with your designs. Over the years, people have grown to be more aware of aesthetics in interior spaces. The result of this popularity means more renovations and construction, the usage of more materials and waste. As a designer, we have the responsibility of remodeling or designing spaces with sustainability in mind.

Environment
Sustainability is about the economy, people, and the environment. As designers, we should support companies whose materials are sustainable products. Although we cannot impose our beliefs onto our clients, we can strategically change their viewpoint on how to go about choosing the right materials and products for their space. Being a designer is a privilege and therefore, we should not take our gift for granted but instead give back to the earth so that our future children can grow up in a healthy and lively environment that is also aesthetically pleasing.

“We cannot know the consequences of suppressing a child’s spontaneity when he is just beginning to be active. We may even suffocate life itself. That humanity which is revealed in all its intellectual splendor during the sweet and tender age of childhood should be respected with a kidn of reglious veneration. It is like the sun which appears at dawn or a flower beginning to bloom. Education cannot be effective unless it helps a child to open up himself to life.”

The Montessori education system encourages teaching students in natural daylight, and views. It’s also important to know how parents and students will get access to the school. The site analysis helps to decide where to place the classrooms and staff offices based on positive views (natural scenery), amount of natural light, and access to the building from different types of transportation.
