Requirements There must be 12 total designs with 2 representing each of the 6 principles of design. Each contrast must be in 6x6in squares, use only one shape throughout, use black and white, and be placed next to the square of the same principle.
Assignment Overview The main objective of this project is to show the importance of contrast in design and how contrast can be used to make designs look good. This project explored how contrasts can add a lot to a composition by only using basic shapes and colors. each of the 6 contrasts are also supposed to display one of the 6 principles of design.
Reflection The main challenge for me during this assignment was making the contrasting designs not too different from each other, but at the same time not too similar. Working with one shape felt very limiting, but it forced me to become more creative in how I used that one shape.

Assignment Overview
The goal of the formstorm project was to take a dull ordinary object and take various pictures of it to make the object look more dynamic, interesting, and breathe life into it. The pictures were to b taken up close and at various angles, with the object being arranged in various ways
Requirements
Pictures could only be of the one object assigned, with a blank backgroun, and must be taken close up. Editing of the photos must be done in photoshop and had to be put into grayscale.
Reflection
At first I was having a lot of trouble figuring out how to make the pitcures look interesting, but after experimenting with the lighting and shadows I was able to figure out how to make them look good by making the shadows more of a focus. The progress I made was very prevelent when looking back on early photos, and comparing them to some of the last ones.
