Our specialist equipment includes an EEG lab for recording electrical activity in the brain, an eye tracking lab, a cold pressor for measuring pain tolerance, virtual reality (VR) equipment, and blaze pods for examining reaction time and hand eye coordination.

• Tailor your degree to your interests and ambitions. You can choose a work experience placement in your second year and specialist topic for your final research project, which reflect your career plans and individual interests.

• Learn from psychological professionals with experience in a broad range of fields who have been published in influential international journals. Our specialisms include cognitive neuroscience, mental health, body image, social interaction and political psychology. You’ll also be supported by a dedicated team of technicians who will help you make the most of our facilities.
