Trending phrases this season -Manisha Mulani You may have observed people around you using ‘much’ almost in all the sentences and however cool it may be to use these words, it becomes irritating after a point to listen to these words again and again even when there is no need of the word in the sentence. Nowadays, as fashion changes every season, phrases trending too change every season and the phrases that are trending is seen to be used by the youngsters and also adults in almost all sentences. These words are ever changing, may be this season much and such would be the top trendiest words, but words like dude and bro are the forever kinds in this world of cool phrases, it’s there since our grand dad’s times. And you know the funny part with these phrases, sometimes if seen literally have a very hilarious meaning like a girl saying a boy “Ssup bro?” and actually the girl is dating that guy which ultimately resulted in the whole phrase she just said changing their whole relationship status. The phrases may sound ‘much’ strange but ‘such’ are the phrases like the one TBT (Throwback Thursdays) or FML (Fuck my life), but when you get to know the actual meaning of it in that way, it will start making sense to you. People generally use these words without even knowing its meaning which is the saddest part, just to show that they are cool. The word swag is used by many thinking that it means the having a cool personality when actually means a piece

of curtain, there is one more such word used commonly that is ‘nigga’, the ones who use it don’t know that they sound racist on using it as it is actually a word referred to the black people. Why is it so important to use these words? Does one word define how cool or intellectual or aware you are about your surrounding? Is your peer‘s perspective so important that you don’t have the freedom of speech? Why is it so important so to prove people or to show them your superiority when it will always out pour if that’s so? Why can’t we just concentrate on ourselves and not on the world? This season to the shock of all eyes in fashion comfort has met with style. Yes !you heard it right, this season there is a upcoming trend forecasted of flats over heels and its start has been also spotted in a very surprising destination ,the ramps of fashion week summer spring, designers have said a bye to heels and took flats as the trend to take their collection forward this season. As flat collections has come into the foreign market long back , by Jimmy Choo and some other designers using them in their runway shows instead of models wearing heels,now we have an Indianish glamorous avtar of it produced to us this season in the Indian market as a top trend by Tarun Tahiliani in his Wills Summer/ spring show.Flats give a more Indianish touch comfortable thats why I think it goes very apt with our collection too.

And I think this trend makes life of women easier as quoted by the designer. We have also seen nude colored flats as an upcoming trend which make it very handy during monsoon and it has also been seen in Pallavi Mohanâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s collection. When asked about choosing the rule breaking trend ,she said that it is more comfortable,so goes with her theme of spring/summer and a free girl as she wanted to portray in her collection which is impossible to show in heels as they are more dressy.

This is not the end of he flats fever, it is becoming evident that comfort is not the enemy of fashion. Manisha Mulani(MM:How do you feel wearing Payal Singhal’s show stopper outfit Aditi Rao Hyadri(ARH):I have always been a fan of Payal and that sounds like a very boring thing to say but its true because it is the second time I am walking for her, I really like what Payal does because a lot of people have nowadays started using actor showstoppers when they don’t even vibe to their collection whereas Payal calls me only when she thinks that it suits me or is for me and i think it makes so much sense because as actor you have a particular personality ,particular inherent and we are not models so if you have clothes that match that you bring it out better. It is very lovely to walk for people who understand you so it is like a mutual understanding, it’s a perfect team I am investing in and she is investing in me. MM:So how do you think this outfit reflects you? ARH:I think her clothes for me are a perfect balance that very feminine, alluring kind of quality but at the same it also has a young Coho, slightly dressed down relaxed, so you have silhouettes are very traditional but she puts them in a way lot of young people can wear them and it’s fun to wear them, they don’t seem to be very over bearing and that for me her specialty. And for me she picks these particularly old world, feminine gowns even the last time I wore a Sharara and this time I have worn this lovely war princess like lehanga,I love it.

CG-I have a huge kit and I use a lot of international brands like Chanel, bobbi brown, too faced, benefits, stila, Mac, makeup forever, Clinique, Artist of makeup, and list is never ending the reason is why I have invested a lot in my makeup kit is because good makeup good brands make a lot of difference in Ur looks and help a lot in achieving your target look and also i add one of my personal secret ingredient to give the ultra glam look.

An exclusive conversation with designer-SAMANT CHAUHAN by-#vidhiBhasin This season whites and nudes teamed up with reds oranges and cooper took us on a dreamy journey. Young, versatile and intelligent SAMANT CHAUHAN, specifically known for his handlooms and hand-woven materials made from eco friendly processes continue to expand his fan following by his pristine, exquisite and mind boggling collection which he showcased at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Summer Spring’15. He left the spectators gasping for more.In addition to this Mr. Samant Chauhan introduced colored embroidery to his garments this season; every single garment was a masterpiece in itself.

Designer SAMANT CHAUHAN an alumnus of NIFT, Delhi has not only travelled the world but has a very adventurous journey to boast upon. He also won a bagful of prestigious awards starting with his first award winning show at Singapore fashion week’05 in 2007 and then participated in London fashion week and not to forget the classic collection he showcased at Carousel Du Louvre, Paris. After getting immense appreciation along with loads of fans for his amazing and outstanding work, he entered into Indian market in a royal, grand and the most elegant way possible by launching his mesmerizing RAJPUTANA collection. He launched this collection three years ago. He elaborated, “Draped in rich chanderi with velvet and brocade borders, each piece has elaborate embroideries of dabka, nakshi and fine zari just like the Victorian way. Along with those, each piece is very carefully crafted giving it finishing touches of tassels especially designed for it, giving the much sought after Rajputana embrace”

All the garments be it daily wear, semi formals or the heavy lehengas were adorned with zari, dabka, zardosi and nakshi, were a treat to the eyes. The theme for his collection was to bring about the purity, freshness and serenity of the soul. It was entirely different from his earlier collection which were very male oriented and revolved around Rajputana bikers unlike his Spring Summer’15 collection which was “ultra feminine” as he said.

Romance seemed to be like every where n his collection and the power of love gave garments a magical aura. The cherry on the cake at this magnificent show was his pristine and exquisite shows topper outfit which stole away hundreds of hearts. In an exclusive conversation with the man himself he elaborated which fascinated me even further was the fact that the shows topper outfit was made out of recycled fabric which was left over while making the other garments of the entire collection. The bows on the dress had been separately cut, pressed and then hand tucked to the piece. In addition to it, the size of the bows increased as we reached the hemline of the dress. I was also amazed to know that the dress took one and half month to look what it did like and now it was every bit worth the time. Designer SAMANT CHAUHAN is a warm hearted person; it was a pleasure to have a conversation with a personality like him. On being asked what was the best compliment that he ever received for his collection he hesitantly answered “the best compliment, amm…. yes a very old friend from abroad with whom I am not in talking terms with called me after ages to congratulate me for my collection, so yes that was the best compliment ever.” Don’t worry all the young and upcoming designer out there, here is a tip for you from the man himself “believe in yourself, do something new, don’t do what people are doing or what people are selling, reinvent yourself and especially you should have your own style.

Lemon crush Lemon is rich in Vitamin C. Vitamin C not only helps to get rid of a tan but also lightens the toughest dark spots on the face. Take a lemon, cut it into half and apply some fresh lemon juice directly on the skin and leave it to dry, and then wash with cold water. Lemon and glycerin solution too is very helpful to lighten the skin. Prepare a mixture by mixing equal amounts of glycerin and lemon juice and apply on your skin. This mixture can also be stored in a cool place for later or several uses. Tomato treat Tomatoes are a rich source of vitamin C and lycopene, which are very essential for a naturally flawless and glowing skin. They help in detanning. They also help in reducing irritation and redness which is caused by sunburns. Make a paste of oatmeal with tomato juice and apply on your face and wash it off with cold water once it dries.

Aloe Vera Madness Aloe Vera is said to be a miracle plant. It is used in many cosmetics as a moisturizing agent. Mix the aloe vera gel with a few drops of lemon juice and make a paste. Yes it is that time of the year ,when all the men have to put the razors in a safe and lock it! It is ‘Movember’, the month of the year which is popularly dedicated to the cancer patients and what the men have to do is just not shave this month and let their beauty increase. It was there last year and is participated this year too and the following has not lessened at all, on the other hand it has increased. Many don’t know the meaning of the faces with extra hair around , they just know that November is the month where you don’t shave but to their surprise, it for a great cause, it is started by an organisation for awareness of men cancer after breast cancer awareness campaigns making them feel alienated and also for men’s health . While some men may let it grow as the natural beauty sways, while the others may style the moustache and beard and have it set the desired way, trying to give the wild a neater look. As Movember rolls men that participate do have fun alongside raise money proving the rea son of their participation year by year. And it is important too for humanity sake, that we sup port this herd for their cause. And the ladies who feel they don’t get a say in this great cause, for get the most important job of boosting their men to participate in the awareness of Movember objectives. Nowadays the following has increased so much so, that you may find almost every men around you not shaving for the cause and publicising i t on their social fronts too. Is it because of the cause or some other reasons? There are still people alive who feel for the cause and participate for the same, yet there are people who do it to prove a point to theirpeer , also some because of herd mentality and also there are men who showcase as if they are participating for the reason that beards have now became a hot quotient and is big booming men’s fashion trend. The other day I saw four friends fighting in a friendly way for the piece of cake, one of hem had brought in her Tiffin and then what happened was really hilarious and surprising, the girls who were not giving the Tiffin to one another and snatching it from each other, stopped and they gave it to a friend who said she wanted to snapchat it. After whatsapp breaking a lot of relationships with its inventions of last seen and the blue ticks, I think snapchat is the culprit for failing many students. Nowadays the snapchat has increased to heights that everyone around is snap chatting small things and it’s kind of became mandatory. For them who don’t know about this application, snap chat is an application where you add friends from their snap chat ids or phone numbers and click a snap from it and you can instantly send it to them, also add text onto it and the best part of snapchat, which has also now lead to people having liberty to send weird pictures is that one can’t save the picture what other sends unless one takes a screen shot .Also one more feature of snachat that adds to its pleasure is that unlike other social networking sites here when you post a story that is a picture for all the contacts ,you also can see who all viewed them and who took a screen shot of the same informing facts like who all stalk your snapchats. The addiction is increasing day by day, you can get to know about the minuets details in a person’s life like who he/she is close too through her snapchat best friends displayed on who he/she snapchats more and other varied things .I have this friend who climbed on the desk for the yellow light on the ceiling, to ultimately have a nice snapchat for sending it to her friend after the class. This story may have been convincing to prove the height of snapchat addiction. Although snapchat is fun and a great time pass when you are bored ,it is the addition to the list of technological elements that have made people so busy in their phones that even if they meet it’s the selfies you click to post making the world a place where real conversations are lost
