FENDI Haute Couture Collection 2021

The Fendi Spring/Summer 2021 Haute Couture Collection launched in January at Palais Brongniart for Paris Haute Couture Week.

It was star studded event with models Naomi Campbell, Kate Moss, Bella Hadid, Cara Delevingne, and Christy Turlington, adorning the runway, plus a cameo by Demi Moore. It was also a first for new artistic director, Kim Jones who must fill Karl Lagerfeld’s delicate shoes in the role he formerly held for 54 years. Themed in the spirit of Charleston Farmhouse, the 16th-century Sussex retreat of the Bloomsbury, the show conveyed “a dreamlike world”, as models walked the runway while surrounded by a maze of glass boxes implying homes and trees. Some pieces were strongly tailored, the next were romantically draped, and there was a selection of gender nonspecific. More at fendi.com/au/
