Doheny A New Voice for Offaly My name is Paddy Doheny and I am standing as your Labour Party Candidate in this year’s local election. Married to Laura for 30 years, we have one daughter Orlaith. I am a proud Offaly man, born, raised and living in Tullamore. Served in the Irish Defence Forces for 30 years and retired in 2008 from the Air Corps as an Aircraft Inspector/Instructor. Currently I am the Human Resource Officer with PDFORRA, the representative association for members of the Defence Forces. Involved in many community groups and a current Director of Tullamore Credit Union. I am a member of Tullamore Town Band since the band was established in 1970 and served as Chairperson on several occasions. I am also a member of Offaly Historical Society and the Organisation of Ex-Service Men and Women. I have made many planning representations on behalf of my local community to Offaly County Council.
Working together… The biggest issue facing families in the Tullamore Electoral Area is the creation of jobs, jobs and more jobs. Labour is the party of work and my core task is to focus on jobs and assist hard pressed families in these challenging times.
