PICK OF THE FARM LOT 1

LOT 2

When sow sales happen, a typical question is either, “why are you selling her?” Or, “why aren’t you selling her?” We feel as though having two PICK OF THE FARM lots offers complete transparency that we are here to extend our most elite sows to the public. These picks can include both open and bred females - sows and gilts. You have the option to choose from any of the lots listed in the CORE Production Sale Offering or any female on the farm. If selecting a female already listed in the sale, that must be communicated immediately at the time of purchase.

LOT 3 59-10

PEDIGREE: DIRTY SECRET X RED 7 (38-1) X NO LIMITS SERVICE SIRE: PRINCE DUE: 6/14/2021

Debra, as she was named in 2018 by Grant as he had her on feed for Expo, is the backbone of many of the things that we have done around here. She was Champion in Division 3 that year and ended up being 3rd Overall Crossbred Gilt. She was fun to watch grow as her skeleton, toe quality, and immaturity were all what we strive to make here daily. In her first litter, she was bred to King of the Hill, and made a boar that I told Moyer was a must see. They agreed with me, took the hog home, and named him, “The King”. His resume has been incredible, and he has sired just like we had hoped. In fact, although it’s popular to use the hottest new thing, we used The King as hard this time as we ever have. 59-10 is special to us and is a never-miss type of sow. Bred to Prince, a King son, allows for lineage to stay tight. Special opportunity to make a boar or a litter of gilts that could redirect a program in one generation.

THE KING :: STANDING AT GENETIC EDGE

LOT 4 70-2

PEDIGREE: THE KING X HOT HEAD X FORTUNE SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 6/4/2021

Last spring, while selling pigs in the Midwest, we went to Moyer’s and went through the slat barn. There was a 70 litter calico gilt out of a full sib to the 2017 Grand Barrow at the Ohio State Fair I thought was exciting and would be perfect for Grant for Expo. The pigs out of “The King” have continued to feed and perform, and she was no different. Stout, heavy structured, with good toes and an awesome look! Coco did well for Grant showing at jackpots, and ended up 3rd Overall Division 2 at The Exposition. To add to her resume, 70-2’s brother was named Grand Overall Barrow at OYLE last summer! As many of our sows are, she’s bred to Hold the Line. There shouldn’t be much guess work here. I think a lot of this one and her pedigree speaks for itself. 70-2 3rd Overall D2 Crossbred Gilt 2020 The Exposition

GRAND CHAMPION 2020 Ohio Youth Livestock Exposition Littermate to 70-2

LOT 5 60-1

PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X COOKIE (68-3) SERVICE SIRE: PRINCE DUE: 6/17/2021

Awesome sow with an incredible resume. Landry Miller showed this gilt a few years back and every time I saw her in the ring I was blown away with her potential as a sow. She has definitely lived up to what we thought was possible. Her first litter was out of Dirty Lovin’, and they were impressive from day one. That litter was highlighted by Bryleigh Beyers’ gilt that was very successful on the jackpot circuit and was ultimately Grand at her county. Additionally, LIFE SENTENCE was in

LIFE SENTENCE :: STANDING AT PREMIUM BLEND

that litter, and is still standing at Premium Blend Genetics. Family Ties was the service sire of her second litter. That was

another incredibly deep litter and was highlighted by

the boar that we sold at our 2020 Fall Production Sale that went to Real McCoy Genetics that they call TARANTINO. I was able to see him early this spring, and I left there incredibly happy and excited to inject him back into our program. This is a young sow that does not miss. As you can see in her picture, she is a fun one to be able to look at every day as well! TARANTINO :: STANDING AT REAL MCCOY GENETICS

LOT 6 52-3

PEDIGREE: RED 7 x BEST MAN (27-8) X TAPP SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 6/28/2021 52-3 // CHAMPION D4 AND 5TH OVERALL CROSSBRED GILT 2017 World Pork Expo

When I think about Red 7, I consider him one of the sires that has made the biggest difference in our program. His females are unprecedented in terms of looseness of skeleton and injecting an immaturity in their pigs that allowed them to grow and perform. 52-3 is a gilt that Mia Parks showed at Expo in 2017, was Champion in Division 4 and 5th Overall Crossbred Gilt. This sow is a phenotypic specimen, and It is no accident that she generates the way that she does. The Red 7 X Best Man pedigree compliments each other well and has allowed for some diversity when getting her bred. We have laid in several females out of her that have all done an incredible job. She most recently had Cade Petersen’s barrow that was Reserve Champion Division 5 at OYLE in 2020! Her accomplishments are extensive, and her contribution at LL will be noticed for an awfully long time.

RESERVE CHAMPION D5 CROSS 2020 OHIO YOUTH LIVESTOCK EXPO MOTHER IS 52-3

LOT 7 32-1

PEDIGREE: HARDWIRED X DIRTY SECRET (44-2) X RED 7 (52-3) X BEST MAN SERVICE SIRE: TARANTINO DUE: 7/9/2021

For those that don’t remember him, Hardwired, sire of 32-1, was a littermate to Family Ties that stood at Laird’s for a moment. The Mother of 32-1, 44-2 is a direct Dirty Secret daughter that is making her mark very quickly. 44-2 had a Rusty Cage litter this past Summer that resulted in the Reserve Heavyweight Barrow at LSU, Crayton Rains’ 3rd place barrow at San Antonio, and the best barrow my boys have ever shown that was Reserve Light Cross at San Angelo!

44-2 :: MOTHER OF 32-1

As referenced numerous times in these write ups, you will also find 52-3 as the Grandmother of 32-1. 32-1 is a littermate to the high selling Crossbred boar “Good Things” at Baade’s that he bought in the NSR Draft Sale in 2020. As we’re selling spring pigs, 32-1’s pigs keep popping up and grabbing people’s attention. They will certainly find great homes for the fall shows. She’s not as heavy as some right now because of her July due date, but her mating to Tarantino should be very promising after seeing some of those pigs surface this Spring. GOOD THINGS :: $39,000 HIGH SELLING CROSSBRED BOAR IN 2020 THE DRAFT :: LITTERMATE TO 32-1

LOT 8 4-3

PEDIGREE: FORTUNE COOKIE X BACHELOR PARTY (28-3) X SEEIN STARS SERVICE SIRE: PRINCE DUE: 6/18/2021

When you examine 4-3’s pedigree, the 28-3 sow in there is one that has as good of a resume for making white barrows here as any of them ever have. The highlight of her career included Tyleigh Price’s Champion York Barrow at Houston in 17’. 4-3 is another one that has put in numerous females here that have made major contributions. She’s had a class winner at numerous major shows, and most recently had a class winner at Dallas in 19’. The littermate to that Dallas barrow was a 43 litter sow that would’ve had Tobi Alexander’s Class Winning Hampshire at San Antonio this past time (Lot 20).

28-3 :: MOTHER OF 4-3

Bred to Prince, I think this could be a home run and make competitive barrows and gilts to hold on to. I had the San Angelo blue division in mind when I bred her this way.

CLASS WINNING YORKSHIRE :: 2019 STATE FAIR OF TEXAS MOTHER IS 4-3

LOT 9 73-3 PEDIGREE: RUSTY CAGE X SECRET SOCIETY (56-1) X DIRTY SECRET (52-1) SERVICE SIRE: BLINDSIDE DUE: 6/28/2021

As good of a young gilt as we got back from any of our exhibitors this time! She was shown by Kylie Barnard at the 2021 Atascosa County Show and was Grand Overall for her and their family! One of many Rusty Cage daughters that we bred this time, and for those that have seen them, it’s easy to see the stoutness of structure, added feature, and durability that he injected. She is no different, and her mom and grandmother are very important here. Her grandmother, 52-1, is a mate to 52-3 (Lot 6) and mentioned many times as a reference sow. After talking with Evan, I thought Blindside was a good match for her. The Kingpin line has worked very well here, and should be a very complimentary mating!

LOT 10 100-2 PEDIGREE: DIRTY PUNCH X COOKIE (68-3) X BACHELOR PARTY X HERE AND NOW (7-12) SERVICE SIRE: COWBOY POKER DUE: 7/29/2021

A direct Dirty Punch daughter. This might or might not mean a lot to some people, but to us, he’s done as good of a job as any of making heavy structured, big footed, perfect skeletoned hogs that have incredible long term value! Her mother is 68-3, a direct Cookie sow that has made several gilts that have had successful show careers, specifically Noel, that was Grand at the West Texas Fair for Grant in 2018. 100-2’s sister was certainly a popular show gilt this time from all of the buyers at San Angelo. She was the $18,000 high seller at the Stars Gilt Sale in San Angelo, and found a good home! If you’re on the tall fronted, slick necked kick, look elsewhere. This is a gilt with spread, bulk, and perfectly constructed rear leg. She’s bred to Cowboy Poker (littermate to the Champion York Barrow at 2021 San Antonio that stands at SGI) for a late July litter. If you’re serious about making solid white barrows and gilts, it might not get much better than this!

LOT 11 62-2

PEDIGREE: DUNKED ON X NO RULES (17-6) X MAN ON FIRE REGISTRATION #: 415661002 SERVICE SIRE: RED FACED DUE: 7/4/2021

When I inquired about a Duroc gilt for the boys to show in the Spring of 2018, I received multiple texts back that Doug Stewart had one at the Extravaganza that I needed to own. Lucky for us, I bought her, Grant showed her at Expo, and she won her class. However, that only begins to describe the long term impact she had on our Duroc herd. In her first litter, she had Next Chapters, and that resulted in Weston’s Champion Duroc and Supreme Champion Gilt

MMJ :: CLASS WINNING DUROC GILT :: 2018 WORLD PORK EXPO MOTHER OF 62-2

at the State Fair of Texas in 2019. She’s also the mother of Reserve Duroc Barrow at San Antonio in 2021. Additionally, she had the Champion Duroc Barrow at the State Fair of Texas in 2020, which would be a littermate to 62-2 that’s being offered here. She’s bred to Red Faced, our RIP son from Heimer, and I think this could create great things. I’m not going to take responsibility for our Duroc successes. I’ve just tied our program into breeders with reputations of making great red hogs, and the results have come with that!! CHAMPION DUROC :: 2020 STATE FAIR OF TEXAS LITTERMATE TO 62-2

LOT 12 111-2

PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X DEUCES (40-1) X SPRINGSTEEN (FERN) SERVICE SIRE: BACKDROP DUE: 7/1/2021

111-2 was a show gilt for the Parks family at Expo of 2019. She was 4th Overall Division 1 Crossbred Gilt and was the epitome of what I considered her mother to contribute to her pigs. Extremely athletic, perfectly built and immature. Her mother, 40-1 was a direct Deuces sow. If you’ve followed our program, many of our females that have contributed immensely have a shot of Deuces in there. He was the Curry Allen hog that was at McCoy’s. His ability to stamp a perfect skeleton and an immaturity to them

40-1 :: MOTHER OF 111-2

was extraordinary. 40-1 had the 51 litter born in the Summer of 2019, sired by King of the Hill. That litter was represented by a barrow shown by Kamy VanAusdall in Denver of 2020 that was 3rd in class behind the Grand and Reserve Grand Champions of the show. He was a fun barrow to feed and got thrown into a monster of a class. That barrow’s sister is in production here and doing an incredible job as well. 111-2 had a litter this spring, sired by Rusty Cage, that should be fun to campaign this summer and fall for their new owners! 111-2 :: 4TH OVERALL D1 CROSSBRED GILT :: 2019 WORLD PORK EXPO

LOT 13 81-1

PEDIGREE: DIRTY DEAL X BACHELOR PARTY (44-2) X SUGAR DADDY SERVICE SIRE: CROWN JEWEL DUE: 6/19/2021

If I could replicate the build and phenotype of a sow, 81-1 would be one of the sows at the farm that would absolutely be a candidate for that. She’s a Dirty Deal X Bachelor Party. Dirty Deal was a littermate to Weston’s Reserve Grand Champion at Denver in 2018, raised by Heimer. 81-1 had the 96’s this past time that were sired by Life Sentence. That litter had the look of hogs that could feed from the very beginning. The gilts that we got back are just as we had hoped, including the gilt that was Reserve Grand at the Texas Elite for the Easter family! This sow offers so much breeding versatility, and should allow the buyer to get very creative on their plan moving forward.

RESERVE SUPREME CHAMPION GILT 2021 TEXAS ELITE SHOWCASE MOTHER IS 81-1

LOT 14 39-8

PEDIGREE: COOKIE X HERE AND NOW (7-12) SERVICE SIRE: CRICKETS DUE: 7/2/2021

The two sows in this pedigree are responsible for the majority of our successes in the “Yorkshire” ring in the Southwest. Their breeding versatility has allowed us to breed them to a variety of boars that have injected exotic pieces and put their progeny in the spotlight in the Yorkshire ring. 39-8 has an extensive resume of daughters in production that have made major contributions, and always has Yorkshire barrows that are in the mix. She most recently had Bryleigh Beyers’s Reserve Champion York Barrow at The Alternative this year. Crickets has been very popular on making Yorkshire classifying hogs as of late, and I feel like this mating could generate lots of opportunities for the buyer!

RESERVE CHAMPION YORKSHIRE 2021 THE ALTERNATIVE MOTHER IS 39-8

LOT 15 68-3

PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) X RATED R X HEAD ON SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 6/11/2021

Any time we have Dirty’s mom or Dirty’s aunt within one generation of a sow, special things happen and those gilts typically stay pretty close to the vest. The 68 litter sows have made their mark around here, and on paper, it really doesn’t get much better than Secret Society X Erin to make competitive barrows and gilts with long term value. Most recently, 68-3 had Tyleigh Price’s Champion Dark Cross at San Antonio in 2021. That 76 litter was deep in quality, and we have got 6-7 gilts back at the farm to work from. Her service sire, Hold the Line, is a new Family Ties son that we have at the farm. I feel very strongly about the possibilities of this mating!

CHAMPION DARK CROSS :: 2021 SAN ANTONIO MOTHER IS 68-3

LOT 16 68-10 PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) X RATED R X HEAD ON SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 7/4/2021

A littermate to 68-3 in this offering! Sharon, as she is referred to around the farm, has been a standout since she was 6-7 weeks old. Again, as I referenced in 68-10’s description, Secret Society x Dirty’s aunt is as good as it gets around here for us, especially as we talk about sows that can make long term replacement gilts! Most recently, 68-10 had Jurnee Mullenhoff’s gilt “Lucky” that was successfully shown in the Summer of 2020 and ended her career as a class winner at Expo! She was incredibly dense, and has done a good job here and will offer a nice litter of pigs in our May 15th sale in Haskell. Her mating to Hold the Line offers a chance to really line up the core of our sow herd!

124-3 :: CLASS WINNING GILT :: 2020 THE EXPOSITION MOTHER IS 68-10

LOT 17 124-3 PEDIGREE: THE KING X SECRET SOCIETY X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) X RATED R X HEAD ON SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 8/13/2021

As referenced in the description of 68-10, 124-3 is her daughter and one that was successful for the Mullenhoff family last summer. I received calls every time she showed about the possibilities of her acquisition, but with my faith in her lineage, and extra density, and her unique look as a baby pig, I wanted to get her back here and inject her into our program. “Lucky” wasn’t and isn’t the trendy show pig that some people think is currently cool. She’s a stout, dense, breeding hog with genuine spread and good toes. Because of her later farrowing date, she was still a little skinny on picture day, but I think there is big time potential for her future!

LOT 18 77-2 PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X RED 7 (52-3) X BEST MAN (27-8) SERVICE SIRE: THE KING DUE: 6/3/2021

Once again, an opportunity to reference 52-3 in our offering! 77-2 is another direct daughter of her, and impressive one to look at. She’s a littermate to Weston’s gilt that was 4th overall in her division at Expo in 2019 that was certainly one that we were proud to take and show! 77-2 had the 79’s this past time, and although we didn’t get the numbers we’d hoped out of the litter, that litter was well represented by Blaze Cozart’s gilt that was second in her class at San Antonio. This will be one of our earliest litters this time, and I think her mating to The King fits very well! Another opportunity to tap into one of the more prolific lines of hogs on our farm!

77-3 :: 4TH OVERALL DIV 4 :: 2019 THE EXPOSITION LITTERMATE TO 77-2

LOT 19 22-2 PEDIGREE: DIRTY SECRET RED 7 (52-1) x BEST MAN (27-8) SERVICE SIRE: CROWN JEWEL DUE: 6/22/2021

22-2 is a littermate to the mother of the Grand Barrow at Kansas City in 19’ for Claire McCormick. Her mother, 52-1 (littermate to 52-3, Lot 6) has created her own path for creating gilts that have stuck around here and contributed immensely. Many have approached me about buying sows that are direct Dirty Secret daughters… here’s your shot. She is built like GRAND CHAMPION :: 2019 AMERICAN ROYAL OUT OF LITTERMATE SISTER TO 22-2

Dirty Secret line; dense, athletic and bold in the right spots. We are excited about the Crown Jewel’s continuing to pop up around here. I think this could be a very elite mating.

LOT 20 43-1 PEDIGREE: RED 7 x FORTUNE COOKIE (4-3) X BACHELOR PARTY SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 7/6/2021

43-1 is a direct daughter of 4-3 (Lot 8) who has made major contributions to the depth and prolificacy of our sow herd. As noted numerous times here,

CLASS WINNING HAMP 2021 SAN ANTONIO MOTHER IS 43-1 LITTERMATE TO 107-6

Red 7’s contribution on the female side of things has changed sustainability of our firm and has allowed us to get aggressive on mating when desired to do so. 43-1 is a mate to Coltyn Cook’s class winning Yorkshire barrow at the State Fair in 2019 and was one that we were very proud to make. In her first litter, 43-1 had Rusty Cage’s in the Summer of ‘20, and ultimately produced Tobi Alexander’s class winning Hampshire Barrow at San Antonio in ‘21. The Red 7’s are fun to build around. I know 43-1 is skinny, but her ability to generate is no accident, and her mating to Hold the Line should fit just right!

LOT 21 107-6 PEDIGREE: RUSTY CAGE X RED 7 (43-1) x FORTUNE COOKIE (4-3) X BACHELOR PARTY SERVICE SIRE: COWBOY POKER DUE: 7/23/2021

As mentioned in Lot 20, 107-6 is a direct Rusty Cage daughter, a littermate to Tobi Alexander’s Class Winning Hampshire Barrow at San Antonio in ‘21, and a daughter of 43-1. There were numerous gilts in that litter, and all had the running gear of Red 7, and the extra shot of density that Rusty Cage will add. Tobi’s barrow won his class multiple times and was a fun one to get ready at San Antonio, and I can’t speak enough about the depth of that litter and the faith that I have in the generating ability of that sow line. 107-6 is very impressive in person, and I’m expecting big things from her.

LOT 22 89-2 PEDIGREE: MAKAVELI X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) X RATED R SERVICE SIRE: NEXT IN LINE DUE: 8/7/2021

Well, to address the elephant in the room, if you have looked at this picture and hate it, I can’t blame you. However, I wanted to offer a young gilt out of the sow line that made LL what it is today. Makavelli is a BKS X 42-11 (Deuces x Dirty’s aunt). 89-2 is directly out of Dirty’s aunt. I’ve always felt that it’s near impossible for someone to go to another guy’s farm and identify generating potential. Phenotypic advantages are the easiest things to pick up on in our industry, but the ability to build a sustainable resume is based around much more than simplistic, quickly identifiable traits. She’s bred to Next in Line at Josh’s. Next in Line’s mom is BKS’ sister that Josh bought from us when she weighed 2 lbs, and she’s definitely done a great job for those guys! Picture is awful, and if you scroll right past her, I won’t blame you. However, you might want to read this description one more time a little more carefully.

LOT 23 64-1 PEDIGREE: WITHOUT QUESTION X COOKIE (39-8) X HERE AND NOW (7-12) SERVICE SIRE: CRICKETS DUE: 6/18/2021 You’ll find some of the most dominant sires and sows in making Southwest Yorkshires when looking in depth at the pedigree of 64-1. Her mother, also being offered in this sale, is 39-8 (Lot 14), who most recently made the Reserve Yorkshire Barrow at the Alternative for Bryleigh Beyers. More importantly than that, 39-8 and the Here and Now sow behind her are responsible for the majority of the females that have contributed to our successes in the Yorkshire ring. 64-1 herself, was the Champion Yorkshire at LSU in 19, and is incredibly impressive to look at. Crickets has probably been the most utilized boar in the past 6 months to make white classifying hogs, and justifiably so. I think big things could happen with this mating.

LOT 24 51-8 PEDIGREE: KING OF THE HILL X STEP ONE X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) SERVICE SIRE: PROPOSAL DUE: 7/25/2021

If her picture intrigues you, you should see her in person! As her pedigree shows, she’s a King of the Hill x Step One X Dirty’s mom. It seems like ages ago now, but Josh and I found Step One at a jackpot in Waco, Texas, and although his crop and direct descendants did a good job, Josh’s discipline on building around him and creating the Cruel line from his existence has been remarkable and very neat to see for their firm. 51-8 specifically, is a littermate to Rowdy Huffaker’s gilt that was Champion Cross and Supreme Champion at the inaugural Texas Elite in 2019. Her service sire, The Proposal, stands at SGI and after the pigs I’ve seen out of him, I had to find the right spots to inject him here. Lined up King of the Hill represented out of this litter should be fun to sell and grow!!

SUPREME CHAMPION GILT OVERALL 2019 TEXAS ELITE SHOWCASE LITTERMATE TO 51-8

LOT 25 3-5 PEDIGREE: NEXT CHAPTER X ROYAL FLUSH SERVICE SIRE: RED FACED DUE: 7/9/2021

I bought 3-5 from Austin Joostbern’s as a little gilt online to have another elite pure to add to our group’s arsenal for Expo in 2019. I was impressed when she got here and she did nothing but get better with time. Lucky for us, she ended up having some very famous siblings. She’s a mate to the Reserve Champion Duroc Gilt at 2019 Indiana State Fair that they call, “Danica”. Their Danica sow is the mother of Hibachi, Blackstone, and Alley Oop. There’s more information that Austin text me about their successes, but typing isn’t my favorite thing and I’m sure you get the drift of how good this sowline is for now. She’s bred to Red Faced. That’s the RIP son that we have here and his first pigs certainly look promising.

LOT 26 58-1 PEDIGREE: FAMILY TIES X DEUCES (42-11) X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 7/18/2021

We have been pretty aggressive the past few years building facilities to allow us to house more sows and grow more keeper gilts. My patience wears thin very quickly, so not having the appropriate facilities to grow gilts and let them be pigs for a while, usually equates to them being shipped too soon or unnecessarily. This was really the first set of gilts that we grew from start to finish here without them ever leaving the farm, and when it was time to pull them out and breed that group, it was sure exciting to see what we have. Although perhaps redundant in these write ups, the lineage behind 58-1 is what has given us as much sustainability as any. Dirty’s mom and his aunt are lined up in this pedigree, and as you can ask anyone that’s seen our sows, 42-11, (Makavelli’s mom) is as visually impressive as anything here. I love this gilt, her pedigree, and what she could do for someone moving forward!

MAKAVELI :: STANDING AT PREMIUM BLEND LITTERMATE TO 48-2

LOT 27 48-2 PEDIGREE: BEST KEPT SECRET X DEUCES (42-11) X SUGAR DADDY (15-2) SERVICE SIRE: HOLD THE LINE DUE: 6/3/2021

Makaveli’s sister! Makaveli is the boar we sold at Perfect Timing in 2019 to PBG for $125,000. I loved his pedigree, and as stated in other write up’s, his mother is timeless. She’s out of 4211, which is a Deuces X Dirty’s Aunt. The 42 litter sows are responsible for lots of keeper gilts here, and 42-1, was the mother of Cooper Wilhelm’s Reserve Grand Barrow in Austin in 2019! This sow had her first litter in November of this year and was a very good one. Weston has a barrow on feed out of her and we also are growing a boar out of that litter as well. 48-2 is great designed, with a flawless skeleton! Great opportunity here!

LOT 28 47-3 PEDIGREE: HARDWIRED X DIRTY SECRET (72-1) X RED 7 SERVICE SIRE: WAGS DUE: 6/20/2021

Great pedigree here, and a mother that is absolutely one of our favorites on the farm. 72-1 is a direct Dirty Secret sow with a Red 7 mother, and around here, it doesn’t get any better than that for us when you talk about pedigrees that allow for us to build. Hardwired, littermate to Family Ties at Premium Blend, is a boar that we got lots of good out of during his short life. He sired much like his brother with perhaps even more of a shot of muscle. 47-3 is a gilt, and has always been a genuine power hog. We had seen some of the Wags hogs that the Heimer crew had brought out, liked their look and thought he could work well on some of ours, including 47-3!

LOT 29 17-1 PEDIGREE: SECRET SOCIETY X HILLBILLY BONE X SUPER MONSTER SERVICE SIRE: BACKDROP DUE: 7/22/2021

In the Exchange in 2019, Bobell and I bought the Soileau lot in order to obtain his Hillbilly Bone sow that was the foundation piece for much of their success in Louisiana and around the country. It was even more exciting that she was bred to Secret Society. Not only has Secret Society done an amazing job of making females, but that boar clicked at Gabe’s as good as any firm. Ben and I split the Secret Society daughters out of her, and 17-1 has certainly done what we’d hoped. She’s laid females back in for us that have some of the good that we had witnessed coming from Gabe’s program over the past years! She’d bred to Backdrop, the Cobb hog that’s at Moyer’s that has stirred quite the buzz, and rightfully so. I think this could be a big time mating!!

LOT 30 9-5 PEDIGREE: NEVER AGAIN X DIRTY SECRET (50-1) X COOKIE SERVICE SIRE: THE KING DUE: 6/21/2021

9-5 is a result of a bred sow that we sold to Justin Rodibaugh and the Tres Amigos crew a few Fall’s back. Her mom, 50-1, is a direct Dirty Secret daughter that has generated very well and generously compensated the Tres guys after their acquisition. 9-5 was a $6500 baby pig we bought at a spring sale in 2019 and was a result of being bred to Never Again. I had heard how impressive this litter was, and as fond as I was of 50-1 when she left here, I wanted to get a piece of her and lay a female back in that was directly tied to that line. 9-5 got a slow start here because of health, but has been on the right track recently and her spring litter of 21’ looks very promising!
