Parent Support Programs It Starts With Hope parent support group Parenting is challenging and sometimes leaves us thinking we are the only ones struggling as we try to figure it all out. Join us in this safe and caring environment for discussion, information sharing, and support. This program is offered in partnership with Successful Families-Successful Kids. Dates:

The Art of Conversation Participants will complete a different art piece each week, as a Wellness Coach from Successful Families-Successful Kids leads a conversation on a variety of topics that will help you connect and strengthen your relationship.

The Triple P – Positive Parenting Programming is one of the most effective evidence-based parenting programs in the world backed by more than 35 years of ongoing research. Triple P gives parents simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children’s behaviour, and prevent problems from developing.

Raising Teens – What Has Changed Since Our Parents Raised Us? Join Alison Zalasky, RN, BScN, as we explore the challenges parents face as they try to transfer their principles and values to a teen who is growing up in a different world. Includes the book, Raising Teens in a Contrary Culture by Mark Gregston.

A drop-in group that looks at different Triple P tip sheets every month, to help caregivers understand what they can do to support their youth. Last Thursday of each month. For Caregivers with Children/ youth 6-16 years of age. Other Triple P programs:
