Beginner Pickleball Clinic

Check out this popular, growing sport! In this beginner clinic, facilitated by a certified coach you will learn basic skills, drills, and game play with an emphasis on fun and learning the sport. Equipment will be supplied, or you can bring your own. Workshop lead by Certified Level 1 IPTPA Instructor Rob Barrett.

Intermediate Pickleball Clinic

This Pickleball Clinic is for intermediate or more advanced players. If you are already a player and want to improve your game, this clinic, also facilitated by a certified coach will teach skills, drills, and game play with an emphasis on more advanced shots, as well and as how and when to incorporate them into a game. Equipment will be supplied, or you can bring your own. Workshop lead by Certified Level 1 IPTPA Instructor Rob Barrett.

Grab some friends and join in on the fun for this adult social recreational, drop-in style pickleball program. Challenge others in this popular game with friendly competition and go for lunch afterwards. Bold Center staff will provide equipment and set up, but you can also bring your own equipment. *3 ways to play: register, pay facility drop-in fee, or included as part of your All Access Membership. Recreational Mixed Slo-pitch League Team Meeting

The mixed slo-pitch league meeting is an opportunity to discuss the upcoming season. Please send only one person per team. This meeting and any league play may be affected by provincial COVID-19 health restrictions. Pre-registration for meeting is required. Meeting will be held in the Viewpoint Room.

Recreational Mixed Slo-Pitch League

Get your friends together and GET YOUR GAME ON in the social, non-competitive mixed slo-pitch league! Game play and schedules are coordinated by Bold Center staff on the new ball diamonds and will incorporate a final FUN tournament/play-offs held on the last weekend of August. No team? No problem! If you don’t have a team but would like to play, please call and we will try to match you with a team. Please register at the Bold Center front desk or by calling 780.623.3829 by registration deadline of June 27th. Dates: Tuesday & Thursday, July 5 – August 27/28 Time: 6 – 9 pm Location: Bold Center ball diamonds Cost: $300 / team Ages: players must be at least 16 years of age to play

Tourism in Lac La Biche The Lac La Biche County Sport Tourism Working Group was established in February 2021 to evolve and enhance Lac La Biche County’s capacity to attract and host major sporting events, raising the community’s profile in attracting new residents, business, and tourism to the region. Our role is to work collaboratively with businesses, partners, non-profit organizations to provide planned, coordinated efforts in enhancing the overall experience for competitors and visitors, while generating tourism and economic benefits for our local businesses.
