My fascination with the Caribbean began in the early 80’s. I purchased 4 guidebooks to the Caribbean and my love affair was cemented. I chose Anse Chastanet near Soufriere, St. Lucia as my first visit and was immediately captivated by the sheer beauty of the island and the magic of its people. As I immersed myself in local culture, dined and danced with couples and families from across the world who decided to call St Lucia home, I realized that what drew these fabulous people to the islands was much more than just its rhythm and culture, it was the magic that was manifested in each of the islands breathtaking private estates.

Filled with a sense of purpose and eager to share my stories on a larger stage I joined Lacure and knew immediately I had found a home. In addition to having a thorough knowledge of the islands and villas in the Caribbean, I was now able to explore Mexico, and then Ireland, England, France, Italy and Costa Rica to secure the best villas for Lacure and share them with our network of discerning clients.

In 2006 Conde Nast - Traveler published a list of the world’s best travel and villa agents and I was selected as their Villa Expert for the Caribbean - a distinction I still retain 18 years later and celebrate with a tremendous amount of pride and humility.

After renting villas near Soufriere for several winters I fell so in love with the experience that I started a company called Villa St. Lucia and listed 10 homes with stunning views of the Pitons. I photographed each property, knew the owner of each house, knew the staff of each house and I chose the drivers and guides I used personally. I consider myself one of the fortunate few to have found my passion and pursued a career in it. The thrill that comes from exploring new countries and discovering some of the world’s most breathtaking homes is something that still gives me goosebumps today. As someone who leads our Lacure’s Loyalty efforts, there is no greater honor than to share my experiences and perspective with individuals who feel as passionate about travel as I do.
