RED-CARPET PREMIERE

The cast and crew of “The Karate Kid, the Musical” took to the red carpet at the Kirkwood Performing Arts Center before the show’s pre-Broadway world premiere in early June. Actor Martin Kove, who plays John Kreese in “The Karate Kid” movie franchise and the Netflix series “Cobra Kai,” and Robert Mark Kamen, author of “The Karate Kid,” attended the festivities. After the cast and crew returned backstage, guests of the opening night enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and a sushi bar before finding their seats in The Ross Family Theatre.
