Welcome to LEH
What an exciting journey we are all about to take together! I am delighted that you have chosen to join us here at LEH and I am certain that you are going to enjoy being part of this wonderful school. You will be presented with countless new opportunities, both in and out of the classroom, and I hope that you grasp them with both hands.
There will be ups and downs as you try to make friends and navigate your way around a new school but I promise that you will get lots of support along the way.
At LEH we embrace and accept the things that make us all different. So, my best advice is to be yourself and we will help you find your place. Our motto in Middle School is “Kindness & Compassion; Tolerance & Inclusion” and we try to live by this at all times.
Mrs Sinnett, Head of Middle School

Welcome from the Head Mistress
I am delighted that you will be joining our Thirds in September.
We are busy preparing to make sure that your first few days, weeks and months are as enjoyable as possible, and that they set you on a path of adventure that lasts throughout your time with us.
Starting senior school is an exciting time full of anticipation, but we know it can also feel a little bit daunting as you become familiar with your new surroundings, meet your new teachers and build new friendships. We understand it’s a big moment for you, and all of your teachers, as well as our older pupils – especially your Buddy Family and Thirds’ Mentor – are on hand to help you find your way around and to answer any questions you may have.
I really hope you enjoy your time at LEH Senior School, and that you make the most of all the opportunities you will have to try something new and different. We want you to feel supported, to be brave and bold, and to discover new passions and all the things that make you uniquely brilliant!
I’m looking forward to getting to know you and to seeing all that you will achieve.
Mrs Cole, Head Mistress

Welcome to your new school! We’re thrilled that you have decided to become part of the LEH community and we’re really looking forward to getting to know you.
Your first year will be filled with so many exciting things: new friendships, inspiring lessons, and a huge range of activities in which to get involved. It is likely that there will be things about life at LEH that will be different to your Junior school, but you have a wonderful team of teachers and tutors who will help you to settle in and feel at home. As well as this, I’m always happy for you pop in and see me to ask questions or talk things through. Together, we can work out solutions to any problems you may have and find the best way to support you.
Our older pupils will be able to tell you how much they enjoyed their first year at LEH: I hope you are ready to follow in their footsteps by throwing caution to the wind, getting involved and having lots of fun!

Wellbeing Definition:
“the state of being comfortable, healthy and happy.”
At LEH the wellbeing of all our students is very important to us. We want you to feel settled quickly and we want your school days to be very happy ones.
The School Council (which is made up of a student from every form in the school) identified 15 things all pupils should try to remember to help ensure they remain happy and healthy:
• Sleep
• Eat
• Drink
• Limit screen time
• Socialise / spend time with friends
• Be aware of others and yourself
• Me Time (Mindfulness)
• Don’t sweat the small stuff
• A hug a day
• Smile often and at others
• Try something new
• Do things you are a good at
• Capitalise on your interests and what you enjoy
• Bathe and cleanse often
• Try and stay organised
If you’ve read the book Wonder by R.J. Palacio, you will know the teacher’s advice was “Always choose kind” as a way of interacting with your classmates. Kindness is very important to us at LEH. (If you haven’t read the book, we highly recommend it.)

11
Packing your bag for lessons
Check your timetable each morning and pack your bag for your first two lessons. Return to your Form room at break to pack for the next lessons. Return to your Form room again at lunch to pack for afternoon lessons and homework. Try not to have too much in your bag, it is not good for your back.
Registration
Registration will take place in your form room at 8.45am. If you have a music or drama lesson during registration, you need to sign the registration book outside the Music Administration Office. If you are late for school, or have arrived after a notified absence, you need to enter the building through Reception and sign in. If you need to leave school at any point in the school day, leave via Reception and sign out with the Receptionist. The school has a legal requirement to know whether you are in school so please make sure you follow these procedures.
Where to go
Each morning when you arrive at school you can come in through either the Atrium or the Gateway. Have a look on the map so that you can see where these are. You only enter by Reception if you are late.
Check your timetable each morning so you know which room each lesson will be in and who your teacher will be. We have a two week timetable, labelled A and B weeks. You will get used to checking which is which.
Mobile phones and Yondr Pouches
Students in Middle and Upper School (years 7-11) should have their mobile phones locked in their Yondr pouch between 8.45am - 4pm. Unlocking stations are available at the exits to the school building outside these hours and at Reception at other times of the day.
Yondr pouches will be issued by Form tutors on your first day in September which will be yours to keep and bring into school with you every day. If you forget your Yondr pouch, you will need to hand in your phone at the Heads of Year office before registration where it will be stored securely until
12
you collect it at the end of the school day. If you require a replacement Yondr pouch due to loss or deliberate damage, you will be charged for permanent replacement.
Homework
You will be given a School Planner to help you organise the work that you will be asked to do at home. Your Form Tutor will also give you a homework timetable.
Write down clear instructions for homework in your planner and remember to take home all the books you need. Write down when it should be handed in and try to complete it on the correct night. Each day you will have up to one hour’s homework. Don’t forget to hand in your homework - it will usually be due in the next day. Your parents need to sign your School Planner once a week.
13
School Coaches
The coaches leave either from the Great Hall Car Park or from Hampton School Car Park. You will be helped initially to make sure you find the correct coach. Make sure you know the number (i.e. C1, C2 etc.) and which school it leaves from. Your parents will have this information.
Lessons finish at 4pm and you will have time to go to the locker room to collect your coat before your coach leaves at 4.15pm. If you have an extra-curricular club or need to stay later at school you can use the late coach service which leaves school at 6pm. Your parents will have details of this.
Arriving and leaving school
If your parents are driving you to school, they are allowed to drive slowly into the main school car park to drop you off before 8.45am. They must follow the one way system in place and an LEH staff member is on duty to give guidance. For safety reasons, parents are not allowed to drive into school to pick you up between the hours of 3.45-4.15pm, as the car park becomes very busy with students boarding the school coaches.
If your parents drop you outside the school gates, be careful crossing the road and enter through the pedestrian entrances.
If your parents are meeting you after school arrange to meet them on the road outside the main gate. Left of the main gate (away from Hampton School) is usually less busy.
It is worth reminding your parents about this even if you have a lot to carry.
Parents can drive onsite if they are picking you up or dropping off in the middle of school day.
14
What to do if...
1. If you are absent
If you are absent, your parents can report it via the MySchoolPortal using the ‘Let us know’ button or by emailing absence@lehs.org.uk before 8.45am to let us know. Alternatively they can telephone (020 8979 1601, option 1) which is the School’s absence line. If you call before school opens at 8.30am, dial the main school number and press 1 to override the message and you will be directed immediately to the absence line where your parents may leave a voicemail.
If you have a doctor’s or dentist’s appointment, your parents should send an email to absence@lehs.org.uk with as much notice as possible (or alternatively an absence can be notified via the MySchoolPortal using the ‘Let us know’ button). When you leave the School during school hours, remember to sign out at Reception where you can unlock your Yondr pouch and sign in again at Reception on your return. All other requests for absence should be addressed to the Head Mistress with absence email address copied in.
You will need to catch up on work you have missed. Now you are in the Senior School this is your responsibility. You will have a homework buddy from your class who you can contact to help you with this. If you are worried you can also speak to or email your teacher/Form Tutor or Head of Year.
If you have missed a lesson because you have been at a music/drama lesson you should copy up work missed and find out what the homework is from your classmates.
If you have been off school, when you return ask each of your teachers for any handouts you may have missed and find out exactly which tasks they wish you to copy up or complete.
15
2. If you are late
If you are late, go to Reception and sign in with the Receptionist and then go to your lesson. Do not forget to apologise to your teacher or Form Tutor.
3. If you need to telephone home
As your phone will be locked in its Yondr pouch for the duration of the school day, if you need to telephone home using a school phone with an urgent message, (e.g. if a sports practice or a drama rehearsal after school has been cancelled), you should go to the School Office and ask if you may use the telephone there.
4. If you need to stay after school...
You may stay in the LRC until you can be collected by your parents which must be before 5:50pm. You can catch the late coach at 6pm. You can sign up to the late coach for a term or just turn up and put your name on the passenger list. Your parents will have sign up details.
5. If you are ill
If you are ill during the school day you may go to see the School Nurse in the Health Centre. You may ask a friend to take you if you cannot manage on your own, but if you feel ill during a lesson ask the teacher’s permission first. Try to go during break times rather than during lessons. If the School Nurse is not in the Health Centre please go to the School Office. If your parents need to be contacted, the School Nurse will do this. Do not telephone yourself.
The Medical room stocks sanitary ware, which is available if needed, but much better to have a supply in your bag!
6. If you need to speak to a member of Staff who is in the Staff Room
If you need to speak to a member of Staff you should go to the Staff Room door before school or at lunchtime. Do not knock, but wait until a member of staff is going in and then politely ask her/him to see if the person to whom you wish to speak is available.
16
7. Messages
Notices are read out in Form time and also in Assembly each week.
If a member of the School Office staff needs to contact you to give you a message, they will email you. Teachers may also contact you by email. Please check your school account regularly.
8. If you are unable to take part in PE
If you are ill or injured, bring a note explaining why you need to miss a lesson. The PE staff are very understanding if you have a problem, but do not like pupils to make excuses to miss lessons unless it is really necessary. If you have your period and are due to swim, there are alternative swimsuits and swim period pants that can be worn to enable you to take part where possible. A medical note must be provided if you are missing lessons for a longer period of time. Pupils should still attend lessons in their PE kit as they can take on additional roles such as a coach or officiator.
9. If you have lost something
If you have lost something, remember to look for it very carefully. Look in your classroom and check the room where you thought you last saw the missing item. Then go to the Lost Property room at the appropriate time. If you have lost a text or exercise book, please report this to your Form Tutor as soon as possible. Books and files are usually left in your classroom. If you have lost your iPad, go to the IT Tower, pick up the phone outside the room which will put you in contact with the IT Department who will try to locate it for you. Valuable items such as phones, jewellery or watches, will be handed into the school office.
If you leave something on the school bus please go to the School Office and they can either call for you or they will give you a card with the coach company’s number and you can ask your parents to call.
17
10. If you lose or forget your locker key/code
Keep all your PE kit and outdoor clothes in your locker and use your sports bag to store things conveniently. Remember to take wet things home after school; do not leave them in your locker overnight.
Your parents have been told about the recommended padlock for your locker which is a combination one and should use a code for you to open it. Write the code in your planner when you have set it. If you do not have a combination padlock and instead have one with a key, please make sure you have a spare locker key.
If you do lose your padlock key or you forget your combination then report it to the Facilities Office, who will cut your padlock open. You will then need a new padlock. Try to make sure you do not lose your key or forget your combination as cutting your padlock open takes time and staff resources as well as requiring you to buy a new padlock. Be aware cutting open your padlock may not always happen straightaway.
11. If your fingerprint does not work
On your first day in school we will take an electronic copy of your finger print. You can then simply use your finger to open doors and pay for food. If you are having trouble opening doors/paying for food (using your finger print) please go to the Facilities Office (under the stairs just near the School Office).
12. If you are having private music or drama lessons in School
All pupils can check the time/day of their music and drama lessons on SOCS* at any time.
*SOCS is the system you use to sign up to the free extra-curricular clubs, which take place during lunch and after school. You will be shown how to access this in Form time.
Every Friday afternoon, throughout the term, you will receive an email from Mrs Tate, the Performing Arts Co-ordinator, giving the details of your music and drama lessons for the following week. Your lesson time will change
18
each week so you will not be missing the same subject lesson. If you miss an academic lesson you should make sure you catch up on any work done whilst you were at your music/drama lesson and always make sure you know about any homework set. If you have any questions about your music and drama lessons or, for example, about where to store your instrument, talk to Mrs Tate.
Music: If you have signed up to have individual music lessons, you will receive an email from Mrs Tate giving details of your lessons. You can also check on SOCS to know the time of your lesson. Your lesson will be with your assigned music teacher but the time of the lesson, and possibly even the day, may change each week. There are music lockers available in the Music Department to keep your instrument safe.
Drama: If you have signed up for private Speech and Drama lessons, group lessons take place after school on a Friday. If you are having individual lessons these will take place during the school day. You can also check on SOCS to know the time of your lesson. Anyone having private Speech and Drama lessons will be invited to meet with the Director of Drama, within the first week of term, so ask any questions you may have then.
19
13. If you want to access your email and Office 365 from home
Go to office.com in a browser and sign in with your LEH credentials (email and password). This will give you access to your email and other Office apps. You can also access your emails on your iPad. It is our expectation that you check your emails at least once a day during the school week.
14. If you want to log into the SharePoint (information) site
Just open a browser on a school computer (SharePoint will open automatically), or go to https://lehs.sharepoint.com and use your e-mail address and password from home.
15. LEHS WiFi
You can connect to the LEHS WiFi network and login with your school username and password (do not tell anyone your password).
16. IT issues
If you have a problem with your iPad please either go to the IT Tower, pick up the phone which will put you in touch with an IT technician who will resolve it for you or please report a problem to itsupport@lehs.org.uk
17. iPads
In Middle School the use of iPads is not allowed at lunchtime. If you really need to use your iPad for work purposes only, you can do so in the LRC. Your iPad must have a pin number for security reasons that you do not share with anyone else. You must also ensure that your iPad is stored securely when not in use. Your iPad should always be brought to school every day with sufficient charge for the day. Chargers are not available to borrow from IT. If you lose your iPad in school or have technical issues go to the IT tower, pick up the phone outside which immediately puts you in contact with an IT technician who will try to locate your iPad and/or help you with any technical issues.
20
18. Food and Nutrition Lessons
For your Food and Nutrition practical lessons you will need to provide a suitable cooler bag and frozen ice block to transport your food to and from school along with a separate container that can fit inside the cooler bag to transport your completed dish home. As there is limited space to store the cool bags in the Food and Nutrition room, please take note of the specification details: maximum height 19cm/7.7inches, max width 38cm/15inches, max depth 30cm/14 inches.
19. Identifying your phone/medical/ allergy information
If you have an Apple smartphone, we recommend you use the Health App to put in your contact details – put in your parent’s number and name so we can call this number to report the phone missing. The details will then appear in ‘Emergency’, ‘Medical ID’ on the pass code screen. If you do lose your phone in school the office staff will be able to find out who the phone belongs to and email you via your school email address.
20. If you are hungry
All food is served in the Dining Hall. You do not need to bring money; it is billed to your parents through the biometric system (your fingerprint).
7:45 Breakfast
8:40
Choice of hot savoury items, hot patisserie items, cereal, fresh fruit, hot or cold drink.
10:40 Mid morning snack. Break
11:00
Hot or cold drink, fruit, cookies, snack bars, muffins etc.
Please stay in the dining hall to eat your snack if you buy one of the hot items – this is to ensure form rooms and the corridors don’t get messy or smelly.
12:30 Lunch
13:45
There is a wide variety of choices every day. The menu is available to view on SharePoint.
21
21. How to make friends
Lots of people worry about making friends. Some people make lots of friends, others are happy with just a few.
• Take things slowly—new friendships take time to build.
• Invite different people to sit next to you or to work with you in lessons.
• Smile and be friendly.
• Talk to lots of different people.
• Join school clubs - it’s easier to make friends if you are doing something.
• Join in with the House Activities
There are many opportunities to make friends – do not worry.
22. If you are worried about anything
There are many people who can help – just ask:
• Your L5 Buddies Form: Form room:
• Your Sixth Form Mentors
• Your Form Tutors
• Miss Redman – Head of Thirds
• Mrs Sinnett – Head of Middle School
• Sister Sara / Nurse Lara
22
23. If you need to talk…
There is always someone for you to talk to in school about anything which is worrying you or if you are worried about a friend.
In school: you can talk to anyone with whom you feel comfortable which might include:
• Form teachers / Tutors
• Head of Year
• Mrs Sinnett (Thirds - U4)
• Sister Sara / Nurse Lara
• School Counsellor
• Sixth Form Peer Mentors

Wellbeing Room
The school’s Wellbeing room offers the option of a calm, relaxed space and individual wellbeing pods if you need to take a short time out – use of the pods is by appointment only, so please speak to Sister Sara or Nurse Lara in the Health Centre.
School Counsellors
If you need help with your emotional wellbeing, confidential counselling support is available via our team of school counsellors, Gill and Louise. To find out more about the service, request an intro’ appointment by emailing counsellor@lehs.org.uk or leave a note with your name/school email address in the white post box in the corridor leading to the Health Centre and they will be in touch. After a year at LEH, our current Thirds have some helpful thoughts and advice to share with you.
Always ask for help when necessary, don’t shy away, as others may have the same problem. What if they want to ask the same question too but are equally shy? They’ll thank you for it in their heart.
Joining clubs is an excellent way to make new friends, even from other forms.
When I first saw the size of the school I was scared that I was going to get lost but after the first week or so I knew the place like the back of my hand.
Don’t worry about the teachers being mean because they are all extremely nice.
At first I was worried about making new friends. But it wasn’t really a problem, all the girls were really nice and now I have many friends to enjoy school with.
If you wear earrings to school get a little key fob container to store them in for doing sport and attach it to your PE bag.
To enjoy every day because it goes by very quickly.
Be yourself when making new friends. Try new clubs, you’ll find a passion you didn’t even know you had. Teachers aren’t scary! If you need help, ask and they’ll tell you.
Senior school is new to everybody, don’t think you are alone.
Everything that comes up in tests and exams is taught in lessons so just pay attention and you will be fine.
Lunches are amazing!
Don’t Tell Chemistry Jokes . . . You’ll get an adverse reaction.

Trips, Clubs & Activities
Trips and Activities
During the school year you will have the opportunity to go on some interesting school trips. As part of your introduction to the School you are invited to take part in an exciting team building activity.
There are also visits connected with certain subjects, such as a Geography field trip. Details and instructions will be given before each outing.
In the Summer Term during Enrichment Week you are off normal timetable to experience a range of exciting activities.
Clubs
There are many opportunities within the School to join clubs and activities and there is a huge variety on offer. Look carefully at SOCS, the notice boards, Sharepoint and listen to announcements in Assembly for times and places of meetings.
There will be an Extra-Curricular Fair to advertise all the clubs on offer, early in the Autumn Term – do go along and give a club a try. You sign up via SOCS. Joining clubs is a good way of making friends.
27
House Film Festival
The House Film Festival is held every year. The casts of the plays include pupils from the Thirds to the L5s and plays are produced by members of the L6 (Sixth Form). Do go to the auditions if you are interested in acting or helping behind the scenes. These are held early in the Autumn Term. It is also a good opportunity for you to meet pupils from other years.
Charity Fundraising
Events such as the Christmas Fair, talent shows, a bake-off etc. take place throughout the year to raise money and donations for charity. The Thirds take part in a joint fundraising quiz with Hampton Boys, each form holds a bake sale and there’s the always popular annual Thirds Disco.
We support national charity events like the British Legion Poppy Appeal and Children in Need. We collect donations for the local food and hygiene banks and gifts for the local care homes at Christmas
Drama Activities
Our amazing facilities host many clubs, productions and events enjoyed by students throughout their time at the School, starting with a dedicated after school club for new Thirds.
The extra-curricular programme is rich, varied and ever-expanding. We host professional theatre companies, have extra-curricular clubs for technical theatre and design, an annual musical with Hampton School, Theatre In Education tours, and peer-directed short plays.
Finally, at the end of the school year we have a production for members of the Thirds and Lower Fourth forms which will take place in the theatre. In recent years we have performed Mary Poppins, Sister Act, Beauty and the Beast and Matilda.
We also have a team of teachers providing Speech and Drama lessons to around 300 students from all year groups. You will have the opportunity to take Trinity College exams throughout the year. We enjoy fantastic results and regularly host Monologue Mondays where students can try out their work in front of a friendly audience.
Musical Activities
There is a wide-ranging programme of activities run by the Music Department.
Individual music lessons are offered in singing and all orchestral instruments, as well as Music Technology. Exams are arranged termly. There are groups for musicians of all ability levels. Most of the groups rehearse during the lunch recess.
The following groups, all of which perform in the main end of term concerts, are open to the Thirds.
Junior Choir
The choir sings a wide variety of music from classical to pop and jazz. It also plays an important part in the Carol Service. This is non-auditioned and open to all Thirds and L4s.
Sinfonietta
This is a large orchestra open to all Thirds who are currently having lessons on an orchestral instrument. There are no auditions - all are welcome.
The LEH String Society
This is a small orchestra open to all string players who have reached at least Grade 2 standard. It is led by Sixth Form musicians.
29
Musical Activities
On Fridays, at lunchtime, there are often informal concerts in M1. Everyone is welcome to attend. You may play at an informal concert by signing up a few weeks in advance.
There are Theory, Sight Singing and Aural classes every week.
There are individual lockers where you can leave your instrument during the school day.
Symphony Orchestra and Senior Strings
Thirds of Grade 5+ standard on a string instrument or Grade 7+ on a wind or brass instrument are welcome to audition for Symphony Orchestra. The string section of Symphony orchestra also forms the Senior String Group.
Brass, Clarinet, Flute, Percussion & Guitar Groups
These groups are run by our specialist instrumental teachers and are generally open to Grade 4/5 standard and above.
30
Sports Teams and Clubs
There are a huge number of sporting activities in which to get involved.
We have teams and clubs in Netball, Lacrosse, Tennis, Trampolining, Athletics, Gymnastics, Swimming, Cross Country, Badminton, Dance, Cricket, Football and Fencing (paid activity). Everyone who signs up is invited to the clubs to develop your sporting skills further. There are also opportunities to play in matches and we have a range of teams in each year group.
These practices are during lunchtime and after school. Keep an eye on the electronic P.E. notice boards and SOCS, an app on your ipad to keep up-to-date on arrangements. You will be invited to sign up and take part in these activities as soon as you join the school. Team lists are put up on the fixtures pro website a week in advance. Keep checking
these regularly if you attend that Sports Club.
Fixtures are published on SOCS. This can be accessed by parents and students via My School Portal by clicking on ‘ Sports Results’. Team sheets and further information about matches can also be found here by using the password ‘holles15’. Fixtures can take place during the school week and also at weekends. Make a note in your diary and on your family calendar of your match and practice commitments.
There are many sporting activities and events at LEH - we hope there is something for everyone to enjoy.

The House system will give you the opportunity to take part in a wide range of activities - some competitive against the other Houses, some Intra-House events, such as the House Quiz - and will also help you to get to know other pupils in your year group and throughout the School. Your L5 buddy will be in the same house as you.
Each House has two members of Staff attached to it - a Head of House and Assistant Head of House – and three members of the Sixth Form serve as House Captain and Vice-House Captains. We hope you will get to know these people well. There are leadership responsibilities in every year group, so if you enjoy
organising events, then you may wish to apply for one of them; your Head of House will tell you how.
All pupils are allocated to Houses randomly - there will be an equal number of pupils in each House in your Form - the only exceptions being sisters, who we put in the same House.
We hope you have a great time in your House, and that you get involved and contribute to the House spirit. Keep checking your House notice board for details of upcoming activities. If you have any ideas for new events do let us know.

The Learning Resources Centre
Welcome to the Learning Resources Centre (LRC). Your LRC works much like your local library: You can borrow books, DVDs, audio tapes and revision guides. We also have on line reference material like the Encyclopaedia Britannica which you can use instead of Wikipedia or just googling the net so that the information you find is relevant and age appropriate to you. To get the most out of your time at school please take some time to learn about your LRC.
The LRC is open from 8:30am –5.50pm every day. You may come in before and after school and during both recesses.
There is a wide range of fiction and non-fiction to borrow, books that will help you with school work as well as those to read for pleasure. New books are bought throughout the year and requests are happily received.
You may borrow up to six items at a time for three weeks. You may request new books; ask to reserve books currently on loan to other pupils and renew books at the LRC counter.
There is a book club held throughout the year where you can discuss fiction with other students. In the summer term the club shadows the Carnegie Medal for Writing giving you the opportunity to vote on which book you would like to win the Shadowers’ Choice award.
The library also has a wide range of e-resources for you to access and use. Highlights include: The Day, read a small selection of news articles that encourage you to have an opinion; Britannica, an online encyclopaedia and; New Scientist, read about what is happening in the world of science.
We invite authors to visit the library. Previously we have had visits from Catherine Randall, Sue Ransom and Michelle Harrison.
To make sure the LRC is a pleasant and productive place to be, there are just a few rules which need to be followed:
1 No food, drink or gum is allowed in the LRC
2 Bags are to be placed in the cubby holes provided
3 Quiet discussion is allowed but not chatter
Above all, the LRC is a resource for you to use and enjoy. Read for fun, for pleasure and to tell you more about your subjects. Be smart, be well-rounded – come to your LRC.

The Computer Network
There is a large academic network in the school with over 500 workstations with Internet access.
At the beginning of the year all pupils are allocated a user name, a password and a school email address.
• User name
• Password - don’t write it down. Save it on your phone or where others can’t see it.
• School email address
You may use the computers in the LRC and computer room which have ‘open-access’ during morning and lunch recesses.
