Our Theme: Compassion...Love in Action. Our goal is: to inspire you to create a healthier you, by eating a deliciously satisfying vegan-diet; and, to patently bring forth into action “latent-human-compassion for animals;” in essence, to completely purify the one planetary-environment ...by believing that the one human-race is, indeed, becoming ......harmless.

Presentation Summaries page 2 of 3 Tammy Fiebelkorn Positive Links. Tammy Fiebelkorn, President of Positive Links, will discuss efforts to reduce violence against all family members, including animals. Tammy will be discussing animal abuse, cruelty and neglect often considered an isolated incident wholly separated from other forms of family violence. Today, professionals involved with victims of family violence are not surprised when they learn that often these acts are linked, and that various agencies are working with the same families. They no longer excuse animal cruelty as “boys will be boys” or “it was only a cat.” Instead, they see animal abuse as a sentinel indicator, “the tip of the iceberg,” and often the first visible sign of other family and community violence. Intentional abuse in any form should be taken seriously. Knowing that there is The Link, agencies involved in preventing family violence need to work together for a more effective, species-spanning response. JL Fields The Vegan Air Fryer: The healthier way to enjoy deep-fried flavors. Culinary instructor and JL Fields is back to share yet another way to make delicious, health(-ier) vegan food fast. Last year she showed you how to use a pressure cooker and this year she’s going to show you how to use an air fryer to make healthier versions of some of your favorite fried foods. Victor Flores & Karla Reyes Easy To Be Vegan ...Even With Kids. Victor Flores and Karla Reyes have 4 children; being a family of 6 and all vegan has given them the capacity to experience their journey in a different light. Their entire family went vegan for ethical reasons after Karla discovered the horrors of factory farming and animal agriculture exploitation. They will share their journey and show you how easy it is to be vegan, even with kids! Dr. Ankur Gupta The Bugs In Our Gut: the next piece of the plant-based puzzle. A dentist of 13 years, Ankur A Gupta, DDS did what he was trained to do -- kill bacteria. According to him, the best toothpaste, the best mouth rinses, and the best antibiotics were the ones that killed the most bugs. It didn’t take long (he began a completely plant-based lifestyle in 2010) to realize that the healthiest people in his office were not the ones using the best bug-killers. Rather, the individuals maintaining they healthiest lifestyle were those who had similar traits. Sure, they ate a lot of veggies, exercised a lot, maintained happy attitudes, but there was something else -- they got their hands dirty. Join Dr. Gupta as he provides both the scientific and the pragmatic plant-based guidelines for maintaining a healthy microbiome. Jean-Christian Jury The Evolution Of Vegan Food Around The Planet. The evolution of vegan food around the planet. How to optimize a vegan diet. New healthy cooking techniques. Tomorrow’s plant based food + 20 minutes Q&A. Michael Palombo Vegan Cheese Enchiladas With Rice And Beans.
