This one-of-a-kind music and movement program engages, educates, and entertains parent and child on a journey through different musical styles and cultures. Designed to stimulate the whole brain and body as you sing, dance, drum, parachute, improvise, explore instruments, jump and play. Ge ng Bendy - Yoga for Kids (6-12yrs) In this class, learning is intentional, acting like an animal is normal, and fun is mandatory! Kids will learn to connect their body, mind and breathe with playful movement. We’ll practice together through flowing yoga poses that promote balance, concentration, strength, flexibility with a direct connection to nature. Aqua c Centre Informa on The Whirlpool The whirlpool is a combination of turbulent air and 40°C (104°F) It relieves pain, relaxs muscle spasms, strains and lower back pain.
The Sauna Step into this hot, dry, relaxing area that is kept at an average of 55°C (131°F). Saunas may be beneficial for insomnia, relief of arthritis, sinus congestion and provice overall relaxation.
Main Pool A four-lane, 25-metre pool heated at an inviting 28°C (82-83°F). The main pool features: diving board • slides • rope swing • aquatic lift • basketball hoops • removable stairs • climbing wall • water run-ways. Therapy/Leisure Pool Accessible by ramp; it is heated at a warm 34°C (94°F) and has a shallow end depth of zero sloping to four feet.
Age and Height Restric ons All children under the age of 7 years and/or are less than 1.3 metres tall must be accompanied in the water and within arms reach of a parent or other person at least 19 years of age. Ratio of children under 7 to adult must be no greater than 2 children to one adult.
Family Change Rooms There are 5 family change rooms, one equipped for special needs with a ceiling lift and a changing bed. These rooms have been designed for patrons with special needs, parents with small children and those requiring additional privacy.
Aqua c Wheelchair Aquatic wheelchairs are available for those with mobility challenges to enable direct access from the change rooms into the therapy pool. Please ask the aquatic staff if you would like to use an aquatic wheelchair.

Recognized as the standard measure of lifeguard performance in Canada, NL education is designed to develop a sound understanding of lifeguarding principles, good judgment, and a mature and responsible attitude toward the role of the lifeguard. Traditionally, many university students will pay their way through school by lifeguarding. Through lifeguarding, students gain valuable job experiences, which can improve their chances of securing other employment later on. CPR is a lifesaving technique that helps maintain blood flow to the brain & heart ‘til paramedics arrive.

Emergency First Aid & CPR (11yrs+) This interactive course includes techniques in first aid & CPR.
