About Our Organization Jakande Estate Online is a community image projection organization in Jakande Estate Oke Afa. We have a population of about 7,200 people, 600 block of ats, each block has 6 ats. We are the social network of the community. Known by two out of every ve person in the community. We showcase our people, businesses and events. We tell the positive story of the community for the younger generation to derive motivation and for the world to see the positive side of our community. One of our ways of doing these is the annual community award. The Accolades. We use it to mark ourselves annually. It also serves as an annual gathering for the community to interact and celebrate achievements of the year.

Mission and Vision of the award Mission of the accolades award: To celebrate success, encourage performance and inspire residents, sons and daughters of the community in every positive life endeavors. Vision: To annually showcase and celebrate our people and businesses whom have excelled in their chosen path to the world through the presentation of special trophies and recognition. Event Background: The event started in 2018, it was majorly self-sponsored by the founders. It was born as a result our own solution to correct social vices and contribute our own bit to the development of the community. 2019 Edition
The Journey So Far: We have since last two editions expanded to Isolo and Oshodi. We are moving to become a Lagos State Community awards in years to come.

Main purpose of the event: To inspire, recognize and assess our community in all of it sectors on an annual basis. General Event Details: The event planning usually commence January with evaluation of last event, then we visit stakeholders to show appreciation, source for new volunteers, set focus for the next edition, review the categories, commence fund raising, release the planning committee members chart, Award Plaque tour, Commence gathering of keynote speaker, Meeting with stakeholders of the community, Meeting Local Government, security meeting, source vendors, publicity and adverts, Press conference and Media tour, VOTING, JUDGES MEETING, SORTING/ NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS, Production of award plaque, Venue set up and the event.

A Lagos based lawyer, Chief Tony Dania, asked his tenants in Lagos and Edo States not to pay any rent to his or his agents for the period of three months, starting from 1st of April to 1st of July 2020, as his contribution for alleviation of sufferings brought on the general populace by the coronavirus pandemic. The tenants were those in Apapa, Jakande Estate, Oke Afa, Isolo and at Solape in Ejigbo, all in Lagos State, and those in South Ibie Iyakpi, in Etsako West, Edo state.
She was Senior Nursing Officer at Eko Hospital, Ikeja, Staff Nurse/Midwife Ekiti and Ondo State. She has 30 years experience in the health industry. She studied Nursing at Ondo State School of Midwifery Peri Operative Nursing at OAUTH School of Nursing and Bachelor of Nursing Science (NOUN) She is part of the team of ministry of health in Lagos State fighting on the frontline to end COVID-19 in Lagos Stat
Certified Engineer from Council of Register Engineer in Nigeria. Member Nigeria Society of Engineer VI Branch. He is presently a Project Manager and An Entrepreneur of the EPCI in the oil and Gas Industries. His project experience are as follows. 1. Fuel dump at Ewekoro 2. Fuel dump at Nigeria Navy LLD Beacroft Apapa and VI 3. Fuel dump at LAMATA Majidun Ikorodu 4. Construction 7million capacity hydrocarbon storage tank to mention a few.
He will be awarded covid-19 humanitarian accolade at the accolades 2020 for this gesture.

Ambassador Chief Georgina Olufunmilayo Kupoluyi. Ambassador to Mexico under President Obasanjo in 2001 She was born and bred in Lagos, her mother originated from onilegbale, Kosoko family in lagos. Her father originated from atijere in Ekitipupa Ilaje. She is a product of regal memorial Baptist Girl's Primary School. She also went to Aunty Ayo girl's comprehensive. She studied Journalism, Business Administration and Law. She is a retired director in Lagos State, who worked in Lagos State for several years, representing Lagos State government internationally and nationally. In the estate, she served as one of the executives of low cost housing estate primary school , where the family was given sport houses from the primary and secondary, which happened to be named as Kupoluyi house to mention few.
