In 2014, Mayor Eric Garcetti designated Crenshaw Boulevard as one of L.A.’s first 15 Great Streets. The City of Los Angeles is investing in safety improvements

Crosswalk and safety improvements

based on guidance from the Hyde Park and Park Mesa Neighborhood Councils. These improvements enhance economic vitality, safety and quality of life for residents, business owners and visitors.

• Local artists may apply for up to $15,000 to support temporary objects, installations, or experiences • Visit the Great Streets website, http://lagreatstreets.org/arts-activation/ for more information

• Each Great Street will receive proactive street maintenance work thanks to additional resources that have been secured in the City’s budget. A dedicated crew at the Bureau of Street Services is making proactive repairs. • Visit http://lagreatstreets.org/maintenance/ for more information
